Edward gives a slight shake of his head, his eyes growing colder as he looks at Arthur, clearly warning him to stay silent.
'Don't worry, don't plan on dealing with this, it's not my problem after all, you do you.' Arthur thinks as he raises his hands slightly in surrender and turns around and waits.
A few minutes later, an ambulance car is seen turning the corner at the end of the road and heading to the scene of the accident quickly before stopping right in front.
Paramedics quickly rushed out towards Bella and Tyler Crowley, the boy who had been driving the white van that had skidded off course towards Bella.
The situation was handled quickly once they found no visible injuries that were of major concern on Bella however Tyler was handled with a bit more care as he seemed to have sprained his neck on the impact.
"You coming with Arthur?" Alice asks as she starts walking towards the car, the rest of the Cullens together with her.
"To the hospital? I don't think there's any need for me to be there, I'd just be skipping classes. I'd rather keep my perfect attendance record." Arthur replies as he waves at the group and starts heading back towards the high school building.
Alice gave a soft shake of her head and a soft sigh as she turned around and headed towards the car.
"He certainly is nonchalant," Emmet said with a chuckle as he walked next to her.
"Well from what we've seen of him, I'd say he's acting perfectly in character," Rosalie muttered next to him, coldly as always as they all hopped into their cars.
Five hours later, Arthur walked out of the school gates, having finished his classes, his backpack slung over one arm as he walked.
"I wonder how I'll get home now. They didn't forget to come pick me up did they?" Arthur mumbled as he walked into the parking lot.
"No, I didn't, I'd never forget Arthur," Alice said as she appeared next to him, practically jumping to his side with a smile.
"Yeah?" Arthur asked blandly as he walked towards the Volvo.
"Took Edward's car?"
"Yeah, taking my Porsche really isn't a great idea if one wants to stay inconspicuous," Alice replied, her mood as always was through the roof as she unlocked the car and headed towards the driver's side.
"Right, Yet you still drive it around like a madman, if you got caught by the police that would blow your cover wouldn't it?" Arthur asked in turn as he opened the passenger door and sat inside, before closing it behind him and slinging the backpack onto the backseats.
"I can see the future Alex, that stuff is easy enough to avoid," Alice said with a giggle as she turned the ignition key and started the car before driving off the parking lot.
"And yet you say that you don't see everything. What exactly was your reason for not stopping today's accident from happening?" Arthur asked as he tilted his head.
"Well let's just say, im in favor of Edward and Bella being together, and from what I've seen, Bella's going to be quite the great friend to me," Alice replied with a large smile.
"Acting like a match marker. Don't you have other stuff to do? Like, go shopping or whatever it is that you do in your free time." Arthur asked blandly as he looked outside the window at the passing treeline.
"Well, That does get boring after a few decades, and making sure that Edward goes out of his emo phase as you call it, would certainly make for a more interesting free time don't you think?" Alice asked with a soft giggle as she slammed the gas pedal harder.
"My life is too precious, slow down. And as for Edward? Don't think he's ever getting past emo even if he were to get married, im afraid you'll have to suffer for eternity." Arthur replied bluntly.
Alice laughed as she took her foot off the pedal.
"You're totally right but still it's worth a shot. And I think someone like Bella would have a good effect on the old emo." Alice replied as she took a sharp corner.
"Yeah? Make him understand that he's not a monster?" Arthur questioned as he turned the radio on to listen to whatever music was being streamed on the station at the moment.
"Classical? Who even listens to this shit?" Arthur mumbled as he turned it off entirely.
"Edward does, from what I saw from my visions, Bella does too," Alice said with a giggle.
"Great, two old classical lovers. Perfect for each other. I think they're just going to make each other worse at this point." Arthur mumbled.
"You're right about that, I don't get why people still like that stuff. It was boring a few decades ago, not to mention now." Alice said with a laugh.
"Anyways, when are you planning on that shopping trip, a few new pairs of clothes would certainly be appreciated. Though, normal clothes, not the designer ones that you try to get me to wear every day." Arthur said with a sigh as he turned to look outside the window once more.
They were getting close to the Cullen mansion at this point.
"Well, we can go tonight if you want, I'd like that. Our first proper proper date, just the two of us. It'll be lovely." Alice said with a soft smile, a rarity for the usual overjoyous adhd girl.
"I've accepted this bond or mate vampire thing however I do have to remind you that I don't particularly feel anything, so I'd suggest you keep your hopes low Alice," Arthur said bluntly in his usual bland tone.
"Don't worry, I'll crack that emotionless mask quick enough," Alice said with a giggle and a wink as she practically drifted into the Cullen mansion driveway.
"Your driving is going to result in my death."
"I'm a master at this," Alice replied instantly as she stopped the car before the garage and turned the ignition off.
