The Alphacrest soldier walked forward slowly, step by step, with a wide smile on his face. His eyes were sharp, and the corners of his lips twitched like he had already won. He didn't even look worried.
At that moment he kept smiling as he stared at the giant earth wall where Jonathan was trapped inside.
"By now," he said with a cold voice, "his body should be breaking apart. Bit by bit. Like someone being roasted inside boiling lava."
He let out a soft laugh and crossed his arms.
"There's no way out of that," he whispered to himself.
But just when he was about to talk again, a loud knock came from inside the earth wall.
BOOM! The sound shook the ground a little.
The soldier's smile faded. His eyes twitched.
"Huh?" he muttered.
He took one step back, and his head tilted slightly. His eyebrows pulled close. That sound—that punch—was not ordinary. It was heavy. Strong. Like someone had hit the wall with a steel hammer.
