[ Chapter VI (6): "PREPARATION FOR THE HALLOWE'EN" ]

[ "I couldn't help it..." ] Felix could be seen seating on one of the many chairs inside of the empty, unlit, and dark Great Hall. As he stares at the table in front, his hands on both side of his head as his mind seemingly is blank at the moment.

Tomorrow marks him being the Professor of the Students for 2 months, a Headmaster for nearly 2 months and a half. As the day today is October 31st, while the time is at 01:36AM. Perfect hour for his problem in sleeping to occur, what a great day.

It isn't just because of his sleeping schedule problem and insomnia that he is awake at the moment. No, it's because it is Halloween later tonight, causing him to prepare for it.

If he isn't wrong, in the original work of Harry Potter, this day is very important, as harmless bats and decorations roams about in the Great Hall of Hogwarts... Compared to that this Hogwarts is somewhat uncomparable to the original.

So in thinking about the day of 31st, he couldn't sleep comfortably. Causing his body to want to decorate it for the incoming celebratory feast that night. [ "Let's just start this." ]

He glanced all-around the Great Hall, then sighted to himself before then pulling out his Wand. Ready to decorate Hogwarts by transfigurating a stuff here and there, or buy decorations from the System Shop.

He first started by dirtying the room, placing dust all-around the Great Hall, causing even him to cough from the sheer amount of it even though he is covering his nose. Then the cobwebs on the corners and ceilings, dangling it to some of the candlelights that is suspended in the air.

Then he pulled out his Inventory, having asked his Students to create Halloween themed Golems in last Alchemy Class, so they did; they have no choice in the matter, and they also seemingly love creating Golems, so a win-win for both sides.

He placed all the Golems in one table, about 30 creations, all different, all unique, some the time but not at the same time. The Golems included the following:

Vast amount of Spiders and Bats, sheet Ghosts, a Zombie, Grim Reaper, ugly Witch-witch, Frankenstein's Monster but somewhat not at the same time, Goblin twins, a Ghoul, and lastly a Headless Horseman riding a horse.

All of which not having a Core at the moment, which causes them to be classified as items by the System, thus fit in his Inventory; if alive, i.e. given a Core, then they would not be considered as items.

Thanks to the help of his Students— all 44 manual labor units, he now could decorate the Great Hall and fill it with small, but lore accurate monsters... He awarded them of course, he gave them the rest of the Molding Clay which they used to create whatever the hell they wanted...

Now Hogwarts, to be more precise Clay City is running rampant with small Wizards and Witches Golems that could perform magic... He could have sworn seeing a small skeemish from the Knight and Wizard Faction in there... Hopefully it wouldn't escalate to war, hope reason prevail.

[ "What the hell am I doing?" ] He shaked his head before continuing his work, buying from the Shop exactly 31 Cores; expensive, as he sucks his teeth from hearing the System's notification of his purchase. But nonetheless, all this Credits came from the Students, so why not give it back to them?

Ignoring the small part of him that wants to horde the money, that wants to refund the things he bought for half the price. He ignored it, as he places each and every single Core inside the unalive clay Golems standing in front of him.

One by one, the inanimate Golems gained color. Mostly dark, some white, but when they did change their color from the initial grey which the clay gave... They gained life also, personality, ego, and intelligence.

The Bat Golems sprang to life, in not needing vision, the dark and the light to them is the same. As they roam the new place they are home'd too. Flying everywhere around the Great Hall, avoiding of course hitting the floating candlesticks.

[ "Woah, woah, woah!" ] Before any of the Golems could get far away, he used his Headmaster specialized ability i.e. the only ability he has, the Keeper ability. Locking them all inside the Great Hall so that they wouldn't ruin the surprise.

One-by-one, as he stared at them, a digital lock appeared above their heads, closing before then disappearing. It means that no matter what they do for now on, they wouldn't be able to escape this place...

For sure that sounds cruel at the moment, giving them life then limiting them to a certain place without caring about their opinion... But after the Halloween celebration they would then be placed in Clay City; a pretty spacious place that has the Extension Charm in it...

Pretty hefty cost also, about 5,000 Credits, which is twice the price for the Hogwarts Express not included the railings and-so. But to him, it is pretty much worth it, as through those Golems he inadvertently teaches Students about Alchemy.

In short, the more Students spend time with Golems, the more they learn about them. To Felix that returns as a simple notification with Credits attached to them, giving him pretty much passive income. So he opened Clay City to the Students, when they have no class, then they could go there...

[ "Something's missing..." ] He glanced at the flying Bat Golems and could feel that something is amidst. He then looked at the other Golems which doesn't have the ability to fly, now fighting one another.

The Spiders seemingly form a Faction and is bullying the lone Zombie, trying to eat it. Other Golems with intelligence are also fighting one another, as the Witch-witch threw potions at the others, primarily the Headless Horseman which is one with his Horse, primarily busy fighting the hulking Frankenstein's Monster.

The others are fighting too, while the Ghosts at some point just float away, phasing through materialized objects... Thankfully they are locked in the Great Hall, if not... Then perhaps he would have never seen them again.

[ "Stop fighting." ] He commanded them, which they did so. Apparently the lesser the intelligence of an Golem, the more likely they are to listen. Unlike some Knight with an ego... So they stopped fighting, the partially melting Ghoul then regenerating, as all of them stared at their master. [ "See, that's better than fighting. Now go roam the Great Hall." ]

He commanded, which they followed, except for the Witch-witch which threw a harmless potion of acid at him that didn't do anything, before then getting a move-on. Going down the table and roaming the Great Hall, primarily to claim territory.

Seeing that the Great Hall isn't even half way completed, he sighted. Before then continuing his editing, now having a baseline on what he should he doing... Primarily making some parts of the Great Hall suitable environment for the Golems.

He first started with the Witch-witch, before then moving down to the other Golems, before then decorating the rest of the Great Hall, wanting it to be scary but not that crazy, perhaps cliché type of scary...

Unbeknownst to him, he had forgotten to place the Keeper ability on one of the Ghosts, and now that said Golem is phasing through the wall, ready to terrorizing Hogwarts and it's residence... Primarily the Clay City which is on standby for a peace treaty; let's see how that one goes.

...

[ "WE, the Noble Knight Faction will not sign this garbage!" ]

The Leader of the Knight Faction— also known as the First Knight stomped his feet on the soils below, causing his armor to rang. Protesting as he looks at his opposition, the Leader of the Wizard Faction. He twitches as he looks at the hodded man in front of him.

The First Wizard, someone who looks nearly identical to the Headmaster, the Knight's Creator which he deeply resents to the point that he even take jabs here and there when he could; a form of revenge.

To the Creator more so the creation, as this Wizard though is prideful, doesn't deserve that much hate. But what he does deserve is hate, as he wants to conquer the whole of Clay City, rule it, and serve the Headmaster like the god he was or whatever bullocks they kept saying.

To the Knights who doesn't rever the Headmaster, but admire. This doctrine sounds stupid, so they actively protest against it, leadng to skermish, to fights, and if worse comes to worse... Then war.

The Clay City's worse condition will turn even worse, as a wall will be enacted, splitting the City— which is more of a World than a city, nonetheless, there'll be fighting. The Great Divide if this treaty isn't signed.

But in the way the Knights and Wizards are acting, that treaty is no way in hell getting signed. As the Knights doesn't bent the knee to an idiotic ideology. And so does the Wizards, to godless fellows that don't worship the one true Creator.

[ "Then war it is then..." ]

The Wizard, no-name, first of his kind, created in the image of their Creator spoke. A nasty venom in his voice as he held his head high, the other Wizads and Witches doing the same behind him, as they all clutch their Wands; ready for a fight.

In sharp contrast, the Knights could be seen holding to their swords and such, ready to pull it out and cut down any and all enemies that dares to occupy their land. [ "..." ]

Both of the sides stared at one another, though they know none can actually die, none needs food or water to survive, but resricting the other and occupying more land in the Clay City— the Golden Land is the true goal of both sides...

So they would fight no matter what, to just occupy just an inch more land, to restrict the other in a confine place— Prison. Though the Knights outnumber them, the Wizards are slowly gaining more men, with the help of the mystical, they seemingly has the upper hand.

But no one could say for certain who would win in this war, as they are both equally fierce in their ways of combat... Both sides stared at one another, no one breathing as if waiting, one could even hear a pindrop as they wait who swings first, ready to use that as justification for the war...

[ BANG ]

[ "H-help!" ]

But to their shock, the Land of the Free— the Golems that are neither Knights or Wizards could be seen scrambling about, as one small hut in the distance exploded due to reasons; the owner of it flying out.

Before then landing at negotiation table of the Knight's and Wizard's. Out of worry for their friends, both the Knight and Wizard Faction stopped fighting and helped their friend out. [ "Friend, are you alright?" ]

[ "A-a monster! A Ghost! A Ghost is roaming, help us, please, I beg of you!" ] The somewhat ashen face of the Blacksmith Dwarf could be seen, as he asks pleadingly to his friends. [ "Leave it to us!" ]

At the Wizard, then at the Knight. As both of them answered in exact unison... Hearing this, both of them became angry, before then going to their separate Faction, commanding them before then running to the Land of the Free.

[ "Knights, charge! Show them how noble we Knights are, never back down, never what?! For Honor and Glory!" ]

[ "Wizards, on your brooms! Show this godless men the grace and beauty of magic. For Knowledge and Peace!" ]

Charging in their own ways, forward to the chaotic quagmire which is the town. Wherein a Ghost, somewhat taller than all of them roam the dark night sky.

The holes which is the white Ghost's eyes and mouth showing, as it then terrorizes the people and animals indiscriminately as possible. The glee shown to its face, not understanble to many; as this one is created for chaos.

Surprising, it's reigned on terror that just started will end sooner than later. Especially with the Knights shooting arrows with the tip being in flame, lighting up the sky.

The Wizards and Witches on Brooms on the other hand could be seen raining the monster down with bright lights; ranging from the color spectrum. Before then hitting it in one-go.

Without a fight, without being able to do a thing against the onslaught of the combined effort of the Knight Faction and Wizard Faction— the terrifying monster was easily taken down, just like that. As it then floats down at the Land of the Free.

[ "Take this evil scum!" ] Before then getting kicked to the face and all-over by the Knights, by the Wizards, by the Free People. No sooner than later, it could then be seen chained, shamed, resricted by the Wizards mastery in magic. Shackled in a prison especially created for it.

And so, through this interaction. The Knights and Wizards seemingly reached an agreement. To not bother with one another, but to also not fight one another, help one another in the times of need.

For exchange of knowledge and bartering to be freely conducted in their separate domains. All things end in good terms, thankfully... Except for the fate of the Ghost which is to be confined in prison.

...

On Felix's side on the other hand, he just now realizes that he is missing one newly created Golem... But what kind, and where it went. He have no idea; [ "Meh, it'll be alright." ] As he then continues decorating the Great Hall, building a Castle for Frankenstein's Monster.
