"Is it her?" Liens looked up at the woman beside Adonis, thinking to himself.
The woman was very young, good-looking, graceful, gorgeously dressed, and exquisitely made up, fitting Liens' impression of a noble lady.
She and Adonis stood together, a handsome man and a beautiful woman, a very well-matched pair.
"Heidi, is that you? I thought it was someone else from the Glenbagen Family who came here." Adonis responded softly to the woman.
Liens' earlier abnormality had already been noticed by him; he had previously guessed that someone from the Glenbagen Family had cast the "contract" punishment spell.
He just hadn't expected the person to be his own wife.
"I saw you were injured in the Scrying Mirror, so I rushed over. I didn't interrupt your fighting, did I?" Heidi explained to Adonis.
