"I cannot believe this is actually coming together nicely." The seamstress said to herself as she viewed the progress they had been able to make over the last hour or so.
Her apprentice had finished with the neckline and was attaching the sleeves to the gown, while she and Ohara had layered the skirt of the gown with the torn up pieces from the previous skirt and the maids helped with what they could.
Every passing minute, the seamstress saw more glimmers of light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe they would be able to finish the gown before the ceremony began.
Ohara smiled in relief, she saw that the gown was almost completed. All that was left was to join all the pieces they had fixed together to the back of the gown and then they would be done.
Ohara used a needle and thread to assemble the layers of the skirt together. She did it with so much skill and precision that the seamstress herself was surprised. She had expected Ohara to be incapable of doing such adept stitching.
