Aurora had to stifle her laughter every time she looked at Tesarius's face, the reaction he had after he found out the truth behind her shadow knights. She wanted to tell him so many things, nag, actually, but knew it was not the kind of matter to take lightly.
It was around noon when she was done giving him a tour of the place, and as she did so, Tesarius noticed how each and every one of the inhabitants would bow to her more than they did to him, their eyes filling with admiration and adoration for his Consort. He knew they looked at her like she was their Goddess. She did save them after all.
But the biggest surprise had come to him one they had left his tent. Just as they had exposed themselves to the morning sunlight, they found their path blocked by the commander of the shadow knights, as if she too had been just coming to see them. It was in that moment that Tesarius took a good look at her face. And by word, was she young.
