Wilson paced inside his house, checking his phone at intervals as if he was expecting a phone call.
"Are you sure she's going to call? People like her betray anyone easily. They only work for money," Stephanie chimed, standing behind Wilson with her hand on her waist.
Wilson tapped on his phone screen, something he had been doing for a while. "Maybe I should call her."
"What if she's been caught, and someone else picks the call? Or what if she's with Alvaro and is being questioned? Or what if—"
Wilson raised his hand, "Enough, I won't call her."
Stephanie nodded slowly, "You shouldn't. If she's been caught, we should be prepared to deny her. Delete all your messages and call logs with her. We can deny her if the time comes."
Wilson rubbed the phone on his lips, clenching his teeth. "I need to know what's going on. She sent a text a few nights ago that he's getting worse and might not remember anything at all soon." The man turned.
