Silas's POV
"Theron is lying, right, Silas?" he asked with an innocent face, because he thought that I wouldn't really kiss Theron.
I just looked away because I didn't want to answer him. If I lied, it was going to be obvious that I was lying to him, because I can't lie that well. And I don't want to lie to him either.
And what me and Theron did—that's not something that should need to be hidden. We are a couple, so obviously we can kiss each other as much as we want and even have a physical relationship.
"Yes, we did actually kiss," I said. But my voice was very low, and my eyes were looking down at the table in front of us, because I didn't want to make eye contact with Kael.
Still mustering the courage, I glanced at him, and when our eyes met, Kael's face was so shocked, like this was something he didn't even imagine.
