The extremity of life blooms like a flower.
But after the splendor of extremity, comes withering and falling, ultimately decaying in the soil.
The Tree of Life is the same.
Perhaps other flowers and plants, after blooming, still have a process called fruition, condensing all accumulation into essence, becoming the nourishment for the growth of the next generation.
Unfortunately, since its transformation by the God, the Tree of Life never had this purpose, nor does it possess this function.
They are derived from the roots and branches of the World Tree, existing to help the Life God System's Divine to better manage their Favoured, more efficiently and effortlessly harvest the Power of Faith of current world believers.
How ironic, a Tree of Life that can help the Elf Clan propagate and continue the race, yet cannot reproduce for itself the next generation.
Perhaps it is a rebellion against this tragic fate, or revenge against the God for trampling and toying with life at will.
