Chapter 59 - Ch.059 Gathering of the Metropolitan Police Dept.

[~1600 Words]

Metropolitan Police Department.

Fujiwara Takuya strode into Investigation Division with confidence, his head held high. He was now the most handsome and important man in the Metropolitan Police Department.

Reflecting on his past, before his time travel, Takuya had also frequented these halls, a nameless nobody without prospects or standing.

His eyes were always dull, and he walked with a nervous tremor, afraid of inadvertently offending his superiors. Now, that fear was gone. He was the boss now, the beloved pet of his superior.

If his superior were a beautiful, mature woman, Fujiwara Takuya mused, he would definitely make a film. The idea had already taken root in his mind: *My Dissolute and Indulgent Female Boss*.  It would be a blockbuster, he was sure.

Takuya drifted into daydreams, only to snap back to reality. He scolded himself for such frivolous thoughts.

"Good Morning, Officer Fujiwara."

"Officer Fujiwara, thank you for your hard work this morning."

As soon as he entered the office, a group of police officers greeted him enthusiastically.

Fujiwara Takuya nodded in satisfaction. Although he was still addressed as "officer," he knew his future held greater titles: Management Officer, Superintendent, perhaps even Superintendent-General.

Life hadn't been so uncomplicated back then. He could delegate tasks, leaving the actual solving of cases to others. He would build a team of skilled detectives.

By the way, he mused, he would give Sato Miwako a special system someday.

After all, she was his girlfriend, his official girlfriend, and he wanted to enhance her reasoning abilities.

When Takuya rose to become Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sato Miwako could confidently tackle complex cases on her own.

He already had a name for this system: The Queen System.

As his queen, she would manage the three thousand beauties in his harem, embodying the tolerance expected of a ruler.

He chided himself again for such outlandish thoughts.

Takuya returned to his desk, solved a case casually, and sent people to arrest the culprit. Like Sherlock Holmes with his iconic deerstalker hat, Takuya had cracked the case with ease which would put even the seasoned veterans to shame. The murderer pleaded for mercy, confessing to their wrongdoing. Alas, sometimes solving a crime was that simple.

After concluding the morning's case, Fujiwara Takuya had little else to do in the afternoon.

He settled into his office and embraced his newfound leisure. Whenever he had free time, he indulged in video games, watched television series, or read novels online.

You know what, he thought, the novel "******" was actually quite good. Actually, novels about daily life and war grated on him. The writing was too frivolous and disrespectful to history, leaving a sour taste in his mouth. He had ample resources now. If he had the time and energy, he would find some online trolls to denounce such works.

When writing a war novel, one must adhere to historical accuracy. Do you possess the ability to dominate the world? However, when it came to dealing with his domineering father, Takuya was as skilled as any political strategist.

The real world might be timid, but he wielded his influence fearlessly online and in literary criticism. The novels might not be good, but the games were a different story, filled with taboo content.

Takuya had seen these types of games before on the internet—games you yearned to download but couldn't. They existed only as tantalizing fantasies.

Now that he was in this country, he could finally access and indulge in them. Fujiwara secretly downloaded these forbidden games, playing them whenever no one was around.

As a leader, his work was secondary. He should prioritize enjoying the fruits of his success.

*Creak*.

The office door to his room suddenly opened, and a small head popped out, revealing a pink and white face.

"Officer Fujiwara, is there anything going on tonight?"

Yumi Miyamoto's large eyes sparkled with anticipation.

Fujiwara Takuya could tell from her eagerness that Yumi-san was deeply lonely.

He found himself questioning his own behavior, wondering how he had become so callous, consumed by such frivolous thoughts. "I have time. Do you have any plans?"

"Of course, it's a social gathering! We've been solving cases very efficiently lately and get off work early. Let's go."

Yumi Miyamoto excitedly opened the door and walked in front of Takuya, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

She also wanted to thank Takuya for solving many cases, freeing up significant manpower and easing the workload on other departments.

The work had become less demanding, leaving more free time.

Many police officers were grateful to Takuya for giving them this gift of leisure.

They could tolerate it even if their goddess had been taken by Officer Fujiwara Takuya's.

After all, they couldn't change the situation. Perhaps a good life was still possible under his leadership.

"I'll go in the evening," Takuya thought for a moment and finally decided to give her some face and attend the gathering, just to kill time that night.

Besides, he rarely attended social events. Now that he had achieved success in his career, it was an opportunity to show off.

"Great!, thank you, Officer Fujiwara." Yumi Miyamoto ran away excitedly, eager to share the news with everyone.

She knew this gathering would be well-attended. There weren't too many people who came earlier.

There were hundreds of officers in the entire Metropolitan Police Department, but only a dozen attended these gatherings.

Neither the women nor the men were particularly enthusiastic. The main reason was the lackluster quality.

`Sato Miwako´, known for her high caliber, wasn't keen on attending either, and naturally, others followed suit.

Now that the Famous Officer Fujiwara was willing to go, the quality would be significantly higher, and there would undoubtedly be many eager participants.

Yumi quickly informed a female officer from the Highway Traffic Division, and officers from other departments also started planning to attend.

After all, whether it's Japan or any other country, they are societies deeply entrenched in relationships and rigid class structures. To advance your career and secure a raise, you need connections.

That's why professional groups are called "professional" groups—the members are all part of the same network.

Fujiwara Takuya was capable and rumored to have inherited a prestigious trust fund, implying that he possessed significant wealth.

Such competent and affluent individuals were destined for promotions and salary increases in the future; naturally, people wanted to build a relationship with him.

In the evening, Takuya's car pulled into the hotel parking lot, followed by several other vehicles, nearly all belonging to the Metropolitan Police Department.

They had all come to attend the social gathering. Takuya stepped out of his car, greeted by a wave of familiar faces. There were also many individuals from different departments whom he didn't know personally.

Beautiful female officers from the Traffic Division were present.

He couldn't help but admire the impressive quality of women in both the Transportation and Logistics Departments.

Takuya took in the scene before him, then, with the assistance of colleagues, quickly entered the building, which was nearly filled with acquaintances he knew.

Yumi awaited him in a large private gathering room, visibly excited as more colleagues arrived. She had hosted numerous gatherings, but this one was the most successful, all thanks to Fujiwara Takuya's presence. It was incredibly popular.

"Everyone, you must get Officer Fujiwara drunk tonight and take advantage of him. Otherwise, you won't have another chance," she announced, a mischievous glint in her eye.

"That's right! Even if we can't fully possess Officer Fujiwara, we should still enjoy him. Officer Fujiwara belongs to all of us."

The beautiful female officers eagerly chatted amongst themselves, their gazes fixed on Takuya with a mix of admiration and desire. They longed to claim him as their own.

Sato Miwako felt helpless. She wanted to speak to her boyfriend, but he was surrounded by others and couldn't even squeeze through the crowd.

She could only watch Takuya from the outside.

Takuya approached from a distance, overhearing Yumi's conversation. A plan began to form in his mind. He would definitely take advantage of Yumi Miyamoto that night.

If he did so, it would be as if she was taking advantage of him. No one loses out; everyone benefits. Coincidentally, he had also developed an interest in her.

"Officer Fujiwara is here," the female officers exclaimed, rushing towards him in groups of three or four, eager to greet their idol.

They surrounded him, each a beautiful woman, their eyes burning with longing as they stared at him.

Male officers looked on with envy and frustration, their desires mirroring those of their female counterparts. They yearned for what Fujiwara Takuya had achieved. "Damn," they muttered, "There's such a huge gap between us."

[That´s all for now]
