Qin Yi's voice carried a chill, along with a faint, hidden excitement.
Back in the Naruto World, in the early stages, he was just an ordinary man. He had to endure, grow, and wait until he became powerful enough to unleash the brilliance that belonged to a King. But now, he was already a true expert.
In a world of civilizations equal to the Starlight Level, he could act according to his nature and do as he pleased.
Recruiting Buggy, impersonating Nami's uncle, bringing Sanji into the fold, these were all personal whims, done effortlessly and without interfering with his true goals.
But at this moment, facing the bustling port before him, and the kingdom so close at hand, the aura and dominance of a true King within Qin Yi were instantly awakened.
He had come to this world to make waves!
No more restraint, concealment, or patience, he was here to shine with the radiance of a monarch. A dragon could not remain hidden in the depths forever. When it chose to rise from the waters and soar across the skies, its roar would shake the heavens.
Today was the day he would roar and take flight.
"Alabasta… is mine!"
His gaze sharpened in an instant, and Qin Yi strode boldly into the city.
That day, the wind in Alabasta was unusually strong, and the blowing sand obscured people's eyes. But the violent undercurrents, long hidden beneath the surface, were about to explode into a storm.
Alubarna.
"The Emperor has arrived. Let's do what we must."
"Begin the operation!"
Duke Wang's gaze was cold as he tapped his cane against the ground, producing a dull thud.
Behind him, a soldier in military uniform gave a heavy nod, formed a hand seal with his right hand, and vanished with a bang.
Almost simultaneously, within the mansions and offices of the capital's wealthy and powerful, trusted aides and attendants suddenly turned traitor. In an instant, their masters were subdued, or outright executed.
Inside the Royal Palace, the once-loyal Captains and Chief Guards who had always dutifully protected it now revealed icy glints in their eyes. Some sent their subordinates away; others directly knocked them unconscious, rendering them useless. After completing these tasks, their appearances shimmered and transformed, revealing themselves to be Qin's Nation soldiers in disguise.
They swiftly took control of key points, opening gates and securing positions. Elsewhere, soldiers carrying rifles leapt from the palace rooftops, rushing toward the throne room.
"Storm the palace! Seize the King!"
"If he resists, kill him!"
"He's just a puppet. There's no need to hold back!"
Orders clanged through the shadows like steel, sharp and decisive.
Suddenly, the atmosphere in Alubarna shifted. On the once-busy streets, citizens sensed something amiss. In alleyways and corners, squads of grim-faced soldiers marched in step. In just a few minutes, the streets were cleared. Everywhere, armed troops held their positions with grim discipline.
Within less than an hour, inside the Alabasta Royal Palace,
Ministers and generals had gathered in the great hall. Seated on the throne was King Cobra, wearing his crown and looking stunned and furious. At the palace gates, soldiers dressed in Qin's Nation uniforms stood in two straight rows, guarding the entrance with chilling intensity.
"You, you people! What are you doing? Is this rebellion?!"
Cobra shouted in rage.
The group of ministers below remained silent. The atmosphere was thick with tension, eerily strange and foreboding.
After a brief silence, one man suddenly stepped forward, a cold sneer on his face.
"Rebellion? How laughable. The one rebelling isn't me, it's you!"
"A dog of Crocodile!"
His words instantly ignited the scene. The rest of the ministers and officials erupted into shouting and curses.
"Bastard! You deceived us for so long, we had no idea you were working for Crocodile!"
"Where is the real King? Bring him out now!"
"Get off the throne, you imposter!"
Seated on the throne, King Cobra's eyes first widened in shock, then turned to fear. Outside the Royal Palace, soldiers swarmed in like a tide, surrounding him in an instant.
"Who… who are you people?"
Having impersonated the King for a long time, he naturally recognized most of Alabasta's officials and military leaders. But now, nearly everyone standing in the throne room were unfamiliar faces, strangers.
The imposter Cobra felt a growing unease. He knew that many within the kingdom had long suspected his true identity. But with Crocodile behind him, they had kept silent and endured. So then, what exactly was going on now?
"An imposter, sitting on the throne for so long, it's truly ridiculous."
A colonel from Qin's Nation sneered.
Qin's Nation's military structure followed a similar system to that of Qin Yi's previous life, ranks and hierarchy were maintained for clarity and command. This time, upon arriving in the Pirate World, he brought with him exactly one division of troops, no more, no less.
"Seize him!"
"Resist, and be executed!"
The colonel barked coldly and waved his hand.
At once, the soldiers surged forward. The fake Cobra had just started to resist when a gunshot rang out, bang!, a bullet struck the wall right next to his ear. Terrified, his whole body trembled.
In the next moment, his form shifted, revealing his true identity: Mr. Bon Clay (Mr. 2) of Baroque Works.
As the soldiers approached, Bon Clay's body tensed. With a sudden leap, he tried to fight back.
"Ballet Kenpō: Okama Dash!"
He shouted, spinning and leaping ballet-style toward the soldiers.
But within just two seconds, Bon Clay was beaten to the ground, coughing blood, bruised and swollen, by soldiers with cold, expressionless faces.
These were elite troops trained in chakra, with bodies enhanced and skilled in Taijutsu (Body Technique). One or two might not be impressive, but a squad of them? Bon Clay was hopelessly outmatched.
"Dance your damn ballet now!"
A major stepped forward, looking down at Bon Clay before stomping on his stomach with disdain and spitting.
That grotesque performance had made him nauseous.
He then turned to address the gathered ministers and officials.
"The Shichibukai Crocodile dared to control your King, an outrageous crime."
"His Majesty of Qin's Nation, merciful and righteous, has come to cleanse this rebellion. You should all feel reverence, and gratitude."
"Also, with the real King missing and the kingdom in chaos, not only has the Shichibukai caused havoc, but rebel forces have also risen."
"Thus, Qin's Nation will temporarily take over and restore order."
The major's voice rang out sternly, his gaze icy and forceful.
There was no question, this was blatant invasion, naked seizure of power. The so-called "temporary" takeover came with no end date.
"Who are you people?! You're clearly here to seize the throne!"
An official shouted in shock and fury.
"Kill him."
Before the words had fully left the man's mouth, the major waved his hand. A flash of blood, and the official collapsed heavily to the ground.
"What I just said wasn't a request. It was an order. I hope you'll all cooperate."
"His Majesty will arrive shortly."
"For now, return to your duties. Qin's Nation requires stability."
The major stood above them all, his voice deep and authoritative, his eyes full of chilling severity.
