"Gish! Eat your lunch, Almira!" Kira took hold of the book away from my hands, forcing me to instantaneously stare at my her, my face folded in a frown.
"Hey, aren't you being rude to your own lady? Do you not fear punishment?" I teased.
She chuckled, hands on her waist with her eyes fixed on me. "Punishment? You skipped breakfast and is now even ignoring your lunch, if this gets out, I would be blamed and would still yet receive punishment regardless. I'm in the middle of the red sea, I have no choice."
Scoffing, I went to my food and sat on a seat nearby.
"Fine. I would eat now." I pouted, taking some bits of the mashed potatoes into my mouth.
I was a bit annoyed though but I knew I had been making things hard for her.
I didn't eat during the morning, though I planned to eat later but I suddenly didn't feel like anymore.
I had been too concentrated on the little book I accidentally took from the palace library a week ago.
