With Tomas—still speaking in a stuttering voice—and the other children restored, Jhin took a moment to scan them all.
But there was no time to linger. The issue at hand was far more pressing than the mission that had brought them here in the first place.

After stepping off the train, Jhin looked ahead at the massive pile of wreckage.
An entire building had collapsed onto the train tracks, completely blocking their path.
Jhin turned to the group.
"From here on, we move on foot."
