Chapter 19 - Chapter 18: The Breakthrough

Meanwhile, Draven and Gerald's team had already reached Floor 41. With the dungeon break in full swing and monsters spilling out, it was easy for them to breach the defenses.

Sofia approached Draven, concern clear on her face.

"Sir, what floor are we on?" she asked, her voice laced with worry.

"We're already on Floor 41," Draven replied, his tone calm despite the escalating situation.

"It was easy to get here since the monsters are spilling out. Even the boss is making its way outside," Sofia added, her brow furrowed as she took in the chaos around them.

"Yeah, you're right," Draven confirmed, his gaze sharp as he surveyed their surroundings.

"I'm worried about the city…" Sofia's voice trailed off, and she looked down, her unease palpable.

"Sofia, focus on the mission. We need to keep moving quickly," Draven urged, his heart racing. He could feel the weight of the unknown pressing down on him.

With sharp instincts guiding them, Leonhardt, Gerald, and Draven led the team through a series of traps, avoiding danger at every turn. When they reached Floor 45, the ground beneath them began to tremble. The vibrations grew stronger, signaling that something immense was coming.

"Get behind cover!" Gerald and Draven barked in unison, urging the others to take shelter.

The rumbling intensified, and soon, they saw the cause—a massive monster, rampaging through the dungeon with terrifying speed. Its destructive path left a trail of chaos in its wake.

"Look at all of them," Draven muttered, his voice tight with tension as he watched the creature tear through the dungeon.

"We need to find a shortcut to the final floor, fast. Do you know of any way to make it there quickly?" Gerald asked, his eyes still fixed on the monster as he strategized.

"Hmmm…" Draven paused, thinking. "As far as I remember, there's a high chance we could find a teleportation scroll in the treasure chest on Floor 50, assuming the boss is still there, given the ongoing dungeon break."

"Wait, I have one of those!" Leonhardt suddenly remembered, digging into his bag and pulling out the scroll.

"You have one? Why didn't you say so earlier?" Gerald snapped, his frustration bubbling to the surface.

Leonhardt quickly checked his pocket and pulled out the scroll, holding it up for all to see. "Here it is," he said, revealing a scroll with a strange circle symbol.

Gerald frowned and stepped forward. "What floor is it for?"

Draven took the scroll and examined it. "It's for Floor 80. It requires mana to activate. Sofia, can I leave this to you?"

"Of course, sir," Sofia replied, her confidence returning as she nodded.

With a steady hand, she placed her palm on the scroll, focusing her energy as she began to pour mana into it. Slowly, the scroll began to glow, the circle symbol flickering with magic.

As the scroll's magic intensified, a glowing magic circle appeared beneath their feet, its light growing brighter and brighter by the second.

In an instant, the team was transported to Floor 80.
