DIANA
FLASHBACK CONTINUES…
A splitting headache overwhelmed my senses and I snapped my eyes open, only to clench it back shut as white light blinded my vision. It made my headache worse.
I lifted my hand to cover my eyes but they felt dragged down by something huge and heavy. I had to drag my hand up to my face.
As I tried to move my body to turn to the side, I realised my whole body was heavy like my hands. A painful grunt left me as I turned to my side with great difficulty.
Then I slowly opened my eyes and met with an unfamiliar wall in front of me. Pressing my head with my fingers, I looked around the grey, black and white room that looked more like a hotel room than someone's home.
"Where am I?" I whispered in confusion while slowly lifting my body to get up.
I was half seated when the sheets covering me fell down, gathering over my stomach and my heart thumped.
