Ignatius Leclair picked up the car keys, clasped Delphine's wrist, and motioned for Maximilian to explain the details as he led Delphine out the door. Once they stepped out of the side hall, he wrapped his arm around her staggering figure, supporting her tightly.
In the side hall, Jocelyn Yeager watched Ignatius Leclair's intimate movements, his gaze turning cold as he stared at Bessie Leclair with a sharp glint in his eyes. "Isaac has gone missing. Does this have anything to do with you?"
Bessie Leclair's face stiffened, and she exclaimed incredulously, "How could I possibly do something like that?"
When Jocelyn Yeager saw her refusing to answer, he stood up to leave.
