Easton Holmes knew Lily Turner was a bit embarrassed, so he didn't put his hand on her stomach again and leaned over to pick up the phone on the coffee table.
He found Ryan Taylor's number and dialed it.
"It took you so long to call back, you must have taken quite a long shower," Ryan Taylor, who had been waiting for Easton Holmes' call, answered almost instantly when he saw it was Easton calling.
Easton Holmes and Ryan Taylor had been good friends since the day they met twenty-eight years ago. They knew each other as well as they knew themselves.
"Let's cut the crap; if you have any questions, just ask," Easton wasn't going to explain anything since he knew what his buddy's previous comment implied, understanding Ryan was overthinking things.
"Straightforward!" Ryan didn't hesitate to praise him and got straight to the point, "I heard you and Lily Turner got your marriage license. When did this happen?"
