Principal Anthony's face brightened as he saw John, relief and perhaps a touch of anticipation evident in his expression. He ushered them all into his car, the silence during the ride to the school thick with unspoken tension.
Breaking the quiet, Principal Anthony turned to Luna. "By the way, Luna, who is the most talented child in our One-Star City who has gone far?"
Luna looked thoughtful for a moment. "I know about him. He comes from one of the Five-Star B number schools in our city, and moreover, he was so talented that he generated his neuro-core in about 19 years. He has even crossed this One-Star City and gone to a Two-Star City, and every year when there are tournaments, we are shown his tournament because he reached there from our city, so I don't think there is anyone more talented than him in this city."
"You're right, Dr. Luna," Principal Anthony affirmed, his tone carrying a strange emphasis. Luna's brow furrowed slightly. She couldn't quite grasp why the principal was asking about such well-known local achievements. The school gates, looming before John like the entrance to a lion's den, soon appeared.
