The demon stopped for a second to stare at where the pressure was coming from. But then it ignored Dan and continued reaching for the stone.
Dan now made his move. He rushed toward the demon and held its hand before it could pick up the killing stone. The demon stopped within its tracks and turned to look at Dan.
The demon then threw out a punch toward but Dan used his other hand to hold the demon's hand. And now they were both in a deadlock.
The demon's face now turned irritated as it looked at Dan. The demon now pulled away from Dan, its eyes still locked on the stone.
Before the demon could move toward the stone, Dan used his foot to kick the stone away. The shadows underneath Dan's feet began to move and something from within it began to rise.
A dark blade rose from it. The blade carried a dark and ominous aura. On the blade were red thin lines that looked as if they were glowing.
On a closer look it was as though the blade itself was breathing.
