The Broodlings and Sporeguards rushed at Zain, their claws out and eyes glowing.
They leaped at him, but their claws scratched only his skin.
Zain stood still, his arms crossed.
"You're not even worth dodging," he said.
The Sporelord's eye glowed, bile dripping from its mouth.
It activated [Brood Spawning], and the sacs on its back burst open.
Dozens of new Broodlings and Sporeguards poured out, eyes red and claws sharp.
Zain laughed.
"You think more of you will help?"
He grabbed a wooden stick from the ground.
His [Heavenly Demon Ether] glowed around it.
He swung it like a sword, using [Demon Slash].
A black wave shot out, cutting through the new monsters.
They fell to the ground in pieces, dissolving in green slime.
Zain smirked. "Too easy."
He turned to the Sporelord and swung again.
The stick hit its skin once again, making it bleed.
The Sporelord's eye blinked, and its spawning rate increased.
Zain's grin widened. "You really don't give up, do you?"
