Chapter 91 - Qin Fei is a dead man.

**"Boom!"**

A deafening explosion shook the entire two-story house, and a corner of the building was torn away.

Zhou Yucui's face twisted in horror. Like a madwoman, she charged at the foreman in the hard hat, screaming, "You murderous bastards! How dare you tear down my house?! I'll fight you to the death!"

She had lived in the Qin family courtyard her entire life and had deep emotional ties to it. Watching helplessly as a corner of her home was demolished, she lunged at the middle-aged man like a mother hen protecting her chicks.

But the foreman wasn't alone. Behind him stood over a dozen burly workers armed with demolition tools. Before Zhou Yucui could reach him, two men wielding sledgehammers stepped in front of the foreman, glaring at her menacingly.

"You were pretty bold just now, weren't you, bitch? Come at me! I'll tear you down along with the house!" the foreman sneered as Zhou Yucui stumbled back in fear.

Inside the house, Yang Chen and Qin Xi's family had been eating breakfast when the explosion hit. They rushed out immediately.

Seeing the fully armed demolition crew and the massive excavator in the yard, Qin Xi and Qin Yi's expressions darkened.

Yang Chen held Xiao Xiao tightly in his arms, his eyes flashing with cold fury.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Qin Xi demanded angrily.

The foreman's gaze lingered greedily on Qin Xi and Qin Yi. With a sleazy grin, he gestured to the excavator and said, "What else, beautiful? We're here to demolish the place."

"This is my home! Who gave you permission to tear it down?!" Qin Xi snapped.

"Sweetheart, we're a licensed demolition company. We verify property ownership before we act. The owner of this house came to us personally, so we're just following procedure. Now step aside."

The foreman wasn't lying—he did have legitimate demolition paperwork. Whether his company was truly "licensed" was another matter.

Just then, a large truck crashed through the gate and screeched to a halt behind the excavator. The Qin family's courtyard wasn't large, and with the excavator and truck now inside, there was barely any space left.

"Excuse me, is Yang Chen here?" A young man from the truck stepped out and asked.

Yang Chen stepped forward. "That's me."

"Hello. A Mr. Qin from your family commissioned our shop to deliver this... 'gift' to you. Please sign for it."

The young man's expression was odd as he handed Yang Chen a receipt.

Yang Chen's eyes turned icy. He could already see what was on the truck—**five bright red coffins**, one for each adult in the Qin family, including himself.

The message was unmistakable.

Qin Xi and the others also saw the coffins. When they heard they were sent by a "Mr. Qin," their faces paled in disbelief.

The foreman had said the homeowner personally hired them. Now the coffin delivery confirmed it—this was all orchestrated by the Qin family, since the house belonged to them.

At that moment, a black Audi A6 pulled up outside. A familiar figure strode in, followed by a towering bodyguard.

**"Qin Fei!"**

Qin Xi gritted her teeth as she spat out the name.

Qin Fei's wrist was encased in plaster, and his bloodshot eyes suggested a sleepless night.

"Qin Fei, what's the meaning of this?!" Qin Xi demanded.

"You probably don't even know what your idiot husband did last night, do you?"

Qin Fei smirked, casting a disdainful glance at Yang Chen before turning back to Qin Xi. "But I should thank him. Because of his stupidity, Grandpa finally decided to kick you all out of here."

"So... this is Grandpa's doing?" Qin Xi's eyes reddened as she clenched her fists.

"Who else would send a demolition crew?"

Qin Fei sneered. "Grandpa said he'd rather turn the Qin ancestral home into a garbage dump than let you live here."

"And the coffins? Was that Grandpa's idea too?!" Tears welled in Qin Xi's eyes.

"Of course!"

Qin Fei grinned maliciously, then noticed Xiao Xiao in Yang Chen's arms. His smile turned vicious. "Ah, seems we're missing one coffin. There's still this little bastard left!"

He turned to the coffin shop worker. "Go get a small coffin for the kid."

Yang Chen's entire body radiated killing intent. Qin Xi and Qin Yi were stunned.

"You monster! How can you be so cruel? Xiao Xiao is just a child! Don't you fear divine retribution?!" Qin Yi shrieked.

"Cruel?!"

Qin Fei's face twisted with rage as he raised his broken wrist. "Where were you when your husband did this to me?! The doctors say my hand is permanently crippled! You call *me* cruel?! Then what the hell is he?!"

Qin Xi didn't know what had happened, but she knew Yang Chen's character. "If Yang Chen broke your wrist, you must have provoked him! You deserved it!"

"If that's how you see it, then what's wrong with me sending coffins for your whole family?"

Qin Fei's face contorted with madness. He whirled on the coffin shop worker and barked, "Why the hell haven't you brought the kid's coffin yet?!"

The worker, finally realizing the coffins were for living people, frowned in disgust. "This is going too far. Our coffins are for the dead. We don't do business like this."

Even an outsider could see how despicable this was.

Qin Fei's eyebrow twitched. "Refuse, and I'll have your shop smashed to pieces."

"You—you're threatening me?!" The worker glared.

"Yes. If that tiny coffin isn't here in twenty minutes, I'll personally wreck your shop." Qin Fei didn't bother hiding his threat.

Yang Chen handed Xiao Xiao to Qin Xi and said in a low voice, "Take her to kindergarten. I'll handle this."
