Chapter 110 - Chapter 110: The Only One

According to the account of the maple tree, Lynn's mentor, Rosalind, was a nature wizard who had ventured into this region specifically to find and rescue "him."

And this "him," according to the maple tree itself, was an extremely important figure among the nature wizards.

In the exclusive domain of nature wizards, the Nature Divine Dynasty, this maple tree had once been a figure of great renown.

However, in her attempt to rescue this powerful being, Rosalind not only failed but was instead sealed within a maple leaf.

In summary, the maple tree claimed to be a powerful individual, and Rosalind had come to save him.

But Lynn was not so quick to believe the tree's words.

He frowned in deep thought, his tone filled with caution and doubt:

"How do I know if what you're saying is true? You claim to be an important figure among nature wizards, yet why has no Morning Star-level wizard come to rescue you?"

"Moreover, how can you prove that those two nature wizards were here to save you, rather than being under your control and plotting something against me?"

After saying this, Lynn subtly took two steps back, increasing the distance between them slightly, and threw out all his doubts in one go.

His caution was not unnecessary this was the first time he had encountered a living being within the labyrinth.

Previously, everything he had encountered in the labyrinth followed fixed procedures. As long as he followed the rules, he didn't have to worry about his safety.

But the "living being" hidden within this maple tree was different.

Could it be trusted? What was the maple tree's true goal?

These questions lingered in Lynn's mind, making him remain highly vigilant.

He certainly wanted to safely rescue Colin and Rosalind, but that didn't mean he would recklessly take risks let alone allow himself to be manipulated by the maple tree.

For this reason, Lynn deliberately avoided mentioning his relationship with Rosalind and Colin in his speech.

Instead, he referred to them as "those two nature wizards," maintaining a sense of detachment and probing.

Faced with Lynn's relentless questioning, the maple tree seemed momentarily stunned. Its branches and leaves swayed gently in the wind as if it couldn't immediately respond to Lynn's rapid-fire doubts.

The "maple tree" was clearly at a loss, unsure of how to communicate with this nature wizard apprentice who seemingly knew nothing.

This apprentice had mastered the Azure Sky Breathing Technique, yet he appeared completely unaware of the situation and what had transpired.

The tree had already revealed the full truth, yet Lynn was acting as if it was lying.

For a moment, the atmosphere fell into a stalemate.

The maple tree was growing increasingly anxious.

This was a rare opportunity after the being from another world had left, it had finally managed to establish contact with a nature wizard apprentice. It had thought salvation had arrived…

But reality was proving to be far more complicated.

The tree couldn't help but recall the previous sorceress from the Davis Family.

She had known the full truth, yet at that time, the tree had been under the control of the otherworldly being. It had been completely unable to act and could only watch helplessly as she was sealed within the maple leaf.

After a brief moment of contemplation, the tree steadied itself and spoke:

"How about this? Although it might risk drawing the attention of that otherworldly being, we can use the Golden Balance for an equivalent exchange. Whether it's an item or a promise, you should already understand the rules of the Balance its credibility is beyond question."

Upon hearing this, Lynn raised an eyebrow and asked coolly,

"You're saying we should trade directly through the Golden Balance? No additional conditions?"

The maple tree responded eagerly,

"Exactly! The Golden Balance ensures fair and equivalent exchanges there's no need for anything else…"

However, before they could finish speaking, Lynn turned around and walked away without hesitation, showing no intention of continuing the conversation.

No matter how the maple tree tried to call him back, Lynn remained indifferent.

"So it was trying to trick me…"

Lynn maintained a calm expression, but in his heart, he had already marked the maple tree as an entity he could not cooperate with.

Regardless of whether its identity was real or fake, the mere fact that it suggested using the Golden Balance had destroyed any trust he might have had.

After all, he knew the true nature of that cursed balance. On the surface, it was the epitome of fairness, but in reality, it was a deadly trap.

Moreover, the current situation was relatively stable the powerful wizard from beyond had temporarily seized control of everything.

In this scenario, he absolutely would not make any reckless moves that could disrupt the balance.

What if tampering with the Balance accidentally released that otherworldly being?

But just then, a sudden change occurred!

"Hmm? Something's not right!"

Lynn's eyes sharpened as he locked onto a particular scene.

The wizard wearing a starry sea robe suddenly showed a drastic change in expression and rapidly retreated, as if he had sensed something abnormal.

And then, the nature wizard who had been sealed

broke free from his shackles!

At that moment, it was as if he had escaped from a frozen two-dimensional painting, transcending dimensional constraints and returning to the three-dimensional real world.

Above the nature wizard's head, a brilliant emerald light slowly bloomed, its radiance so dense that it seemed to drip with greenery.

There was no doubt this nature wizard had relied on that green light to shatter the terrifying imprisonment and regain consciousness.

"How is this possible?!"

The enforcer wizard's face turned ashen, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief.

"I applied a Level 6 Confinement Formation! Not even a Level 6 wizard should be able to break free!"

Yet, the undeniable reality was right before him.

His gaze fixated on the emerald light above the nature wizard's head, his voice trembling slightly:

"That thing… it broke the seal!"

He was well aware that the Guardian Formation of the Wizard's World was not something that could be easily countered.

Even if only a small portion of the formation's power had been used, its essence remained supreme, drawing upon the vast energy of the entire world.

Neither enchanted artifacts nor legendary treasures could truly resist it. They might hold out for a while, but eventually, they would be crushed.

And yet, the lush emerald light radiating from that nature wizard had not only withstood the Guardian Formation's suppression.

It had outright broken through!

"This… This is a… Unique Moonlight Relic!"

The enforcer wizard's voice shook as his face turned as white as a sheet, his eyes filled with pure terror.

Meanwhile, hidden within the scene, Lynn had witnessed everything.

However, unlike the enforcer wizard's shock, Lynn's reaction was completely different.

His eyes burned with an intense hunger, like a dying man in the desert who had suddenly discovered an oasis.

This was not just his reaction.

It was the Azure Sky Meditation Technique inside him… craving that Moonlight Relic.

That desire almost overwhelmed his rationality, as if screaming at him:

"It's yours go and claim it!"
