It has been three months since the bandits attack.
And my life has become very busy to the point it became a rare sight of me playing Sylphy or Anna. Think about it, they aren't the only thing I neglected. I also stopped gathering information about the world.
The most time consuming thing was my training dad didn't believe me that I said I mastered 『Sword Slice』skill, my answer was the wooden sword was swung at maximum speed to his leg making him whine in pain from it.
(I did it with the skill and he approved that I mastered the skill).
Also it didn't take me that long to master 『Parry 』skill too. And when I asked dad if it was the only thing I needed to be named beginner level in Water God Style, he just looked to the other side. Then the answer is: "No!"
And I added the skills 『Deflect』 and 『Counter』to my training. (Deflect is to stop an attack from throwable things like pebbles, arrows, etc. Counter is self explanatory).
『Side Step』 got perfected too and after all of this I'm finally what you call a real beginner level swordsman from the Sword God Style.
As for living with Sam, (Samantha nickname. I chose it for her) she grew more attached to me, also she got used to everyone in the house, especially Mom and Lilla.
But it doesn't change the fact that it turned out to be a bad idea to use the crib. (We hadn't used it since the day when they were interrogating me). If I dared and put her in it, we would all be punished by a very loud cry from her not stopping until I sang a lullaby for her.
To solve the problem, dad added a movable fence to my bed. And now she sleeps on my chest only. Also dad stopped teasing me about it when he realised I treat her as a real younger sister.
(He realised that when he saw me joking with Sylphy or Anna and sometimes teased them, but with Sam I'm only an overprotective brother who never leaves her side).
And his stingy side disappeared too, it happened right after day she started to giggle in his hands too.
Apparently he was refusing to keep her at first for two reasons. The first reason, he was afraid I was going to harm the girl in a very bad way, because of that idea, he got himself a hit from Mom to the head, pout from me, I didn't talk with him for the day. And a scowl from Lilla. (He had to apologise to everyone many times, especially to me and Lilla).
As for the second reason, because of how she was crying from the moment she woke up that day, until she was put next to me. What happened is when I was sleeping, drugged by the sedative and my breath suddenly stopped, Mom had to put her on me until she heals me.
That's when the crying newborn girl fell silent and they discovered the way for her to calm down. (So dad not wanting a crying non-stop baby he refused but no since she doesn't cry as long as she is in my hand and all her needs are fulfilled).
Now he starts to call her daughter or sam. (People can change and Sam is helping everyone to love her by her beautiful smile. Sometimes I wonder what face Mr Ferland would make if he saw his daughter happy like this now).
Anyway it isn't the time to get sentimental. Also my first argument with Mr Laws happened a few days ago.
What happened is Sylphy wanted to brag about something that she can do and I can't. Because she feels inferior to me. Because I'm slightly younger yet. The whole village calls me 'little hero.' Well, the whole village except for Andrew. And Ms Lilla who returned to being afraid of me. (Well she has every right to be afraid of me, but I will explain why later).
And the three militant villagers that saw me full of blood from head to toe, also don't make the best face when seeing me.
Wait a second! I'm getting off topic here. Back to the argument with Mr Laws. Apparently his idea was to teach her story telling for now. And when she grows up a little, he will teach her both the elven way of hunting and the family way of making lucky charms.
(He and Ms Rose wear matching pendants and it appears to be if you made a match to your pendant it is like proposing to him/her).
All of that okay, but what happened is the stories he told Sylphy weren't the best.
(The first and Sylphie's favourite story was a beautiful princess loved by everyone who sees her because of her purity and cuteness. Until a witch appears and starts to bully the princess and harms her making the princess cry for help and the elegant silver shining prince was the one to solve her problems and they loved each other and fell in love ever after).
My problem with the story is two things the princess cried for help for years. Didn't try once to defend herself she waited for a third party to help her. The second one is that she grew even more dependent on the prince after he saved her. Sylphy already suffers from lack of ego and what he does by this story is like saying to her: if ever you fell in a problem wait for your elegant prince to solve it for you then grow dependent on him.
(The second story is about a beautiful girl who captivated anyone by her beauty, but with a lot of attention came haters as much as lovers and a witch who had hatred toward the princess cursed the girl making everyone hate her. And the curse is unrecoverable because of that, the girl cried non-stop because she used to be loved by everyone around her or so she thought. Apparently only the people who loved her for real weren't affected by the curse so her real friends and family were unaffected, making her have only those people to love and lean on).
My problem with the story is that the story looks exactly like Sylphy's story. She is a beautiful girl and anyone who knows her will love her immediately, but because she is born with green-hair, she is cursed by hatred of everyone who doesn't know how beautiful her soul is.
I pointed out to him that the first story is a bad example for a growing girl, especially with one who has a problem with a weak character. In which he responded with a grimace and told me: he won't harm his daughter so I pointed the other story and told him if his daughter realised he made story about her, but with a roundabout way to tell her: your family and friends whom loves you for who you are, are your real friends and family his expression turned to smile and told me: he knows what's the best for his daughter.
Which brought the other topic to the argument. If so, why not solve her weak character problem? Before she gets clingy to a bad person. He told me: the only one he is afraid of is me.
So with a calm smile I told him: is that so, don't worry his daughter won't see me again. His face darkened immediately he realised he ended the friendship between Sylphy and me that she worked so hard to make. Because of that he apologised to me immediately and asked me to keep all of that from Sylphy. I just smiled and told him: this was the plan from the beginning, even if he wanted to end the friendship between me and Sylphy. I was willing to take the blame for it.
From that day things have been a little awkward between the two of us.
As for An (Anna's nickname she realised is the only one of the 4 of us without one, so she asked me for an idea for one, because her name is almost too short to be cut).
She thanked me for the idea and from that day she asked everyone to call her the same.
Also she is now learning to be a merchant, because of that, she started to learn number reading and writing. In short she started to be literature so what is expected is to be short on time with us yes. Wrong. What happened is because of me, her time with us multiplied to the point she now learns from me faster than her mother.
Also since we are talking about learning, Sylphy is more focused about magic and she reached a new level.
(The first thing, her mana capacity had become too big that she is now capable of summoning 100 『Waterball』of course I can summon thousands but that's another matter).
As for An she is more focused on being literate so she just does one spell after finishes training (and unlike me and Sylphy her mana multiplier is by fractions so after 3 months of training her spell limit is 9) as for Sylphy is about multiplied by 2 everyday.
As for my multiplier is by 3 which feels like cheating.
(Man, now I can do 100 for the new fully powered 『Air Slice』 and I'm still good to go).
But I'm not the only one who grew stronger. Pete also finally hit the intermediate rank in Water God Style and finally dad started training for real. He still laxes and shows off, but he started training and Mom said: he regained half of his former speed.
Also Mr Laws finally got ranked by dad intermediate level in North God Style. (As a warrior his power is in advanced level and with the bow he is unpredictable to the enemy especially with his ability to jump between the tree and his silent hunting).
He is the strongest hunter we have even after the two new hunters had joined us in the village. (Apparently he too used to be an adventurer but unlike dad he was one for convenience for lower tolls and better prices in inns he joined the guild).
And the new 4 Reeves are strong too, but the people who were there through my interrogations are cautious around them until they make sure they are loyal to Lord Sauros not James.
(Now the village has 8 Reeves and the two crippled Reeves the one who lost his arm because he is literature he will work in the Roa Manor in the office, as for the other one because he lost half of his leg, he will work in the stables and he will be moving carriages from now on, also I meet him once now he wear a wooden leg prosthesis).
As for how the wall is going we finished the first side. It was the forest side and after my begging and pleading with puppy eyes they included the meadow inside the wall.

What happened is Lord Philip sent 3 gold coins to the village. One to build a wall. (He didn't know anything about me paying 3 gold coins of my own prize for the wall making the wall even sturdier). One for the fallen Reeves. And the last one for the bandits' killers.
Because of that I was supposed to be rewarded with 7 silver coins. I said I will only take one, my family takes two. And the last four for improving the village roads.
Because of that Mr Smith said jokingly I make a better Lord than dad and advised him to watch out if I will do a coup d'etat against him which provoked laughter in the whole village hall. Even dad laughed at it when he saw my pout at the joke.
That day Paul asked me if there is anything I want. I told him: I want him to stop teasing me and treat me like a toddler for once. Which caused him to laugh and ruffle my hair and mutter for himself. "I was worrying myself for no reason. Not everyone is Philemon."
(This got him my strongest hit to his leg and he saw me pouting for comparing me with his younger brother).
Isn't it enough I got compared to him, now he wants to compare me to his bastard brother.
(So what now. I'm a perverted idiot, who happens to be womaniser scum, who also happens to be a cowardly traitor and to finish the group. I'm a disfigured bastard who kills his own family).
For real, grandfather got himself two amazing sons. Each one of them is bastard through and through.
Back to the topic about the village, we assigned lumberjacks to clear parts of the forest under protection of the two new hunters who joined the village. As I had anticipated, if we make our hunters better armed everyone will look at them. And they will say: we want to be like them.
As for the soldiers dad said he will search for someone through the adventurer guild he will search for retired adventurers. (But after the wall is built).
And to make sure he puts in a good request I said I'm going with him. In which he replied only if I agreed to join the guild. And I agreed immediately. (He is joking right, that's something people love, not something bad).
The wall will be finished by the time I'm four because we kinda haste built and many essential details are being delayed. Also, the spike wall (Stone Lances) put at the wall I suggested as in front of the main one is also delayed. And we are supposed to make the watchtowers part of the wall too. Also we agreed to make the wall in the middle of the fields and with these we can raise livestock herds in walls. (And they will be safe from assault dogs and the thousands kinds of wolves in the region).
Also I paid yet another gold coin to buy wood and made the villagers build huts with the wood I bought. And the village population increased from 138 to 180 people. From them the new hunters, the new Reeves and two new former C-class adventurers who decided to settle here. And many new villagers settled here.
(As for the adventurers' professions. One warrior and one thief. It's the name of the scout role in this world).
Also I made another breakthrough in gravity magic by complete luck. I discovered two things, the first thing was the ability to create gravity fields. But what I said about the old gravity magic is mana stealing, I take it back. This new gravity magic is a crime. One Second of using it is equivalent to 30% of my magic two days ago.
The other one is even worse in mana usage. It's the ability to create polars fields.
(To put it simply like a magnet, gravity has poles. North and south, that's according to earth physics, now that this world is a flat one, I don't know how it works here. For now, what I wanted to say is: with these polars you can control gravity of the ground itself that will be in more wide areas and more better at control than the original gravity magic, with this combined to the former I can fly freely, but the problem is my maximum flying time is 2.5 seconds before I left dry).

(No one needs to know but I dissected her body to search for the reason of death and found none).
When I went to offer my Condolences he released his anger at me. I didn't respond. I let him lash out all he wanted and when he fell silent I asked him: is that all? That's when he cried and swore to never forgive me and since then I hadn't seen him, because he has been avoiding me.
Even when we attended the harvest season festival he went to the festival after the children were sent home.
Also there happened father and I first blunder.
I didn't mention what I used sedatives on, so they presumed I put sedatives only on the food on the table. Not knowing I hadn't put sedates in the food in the first place and I put it only on the ale barrel. The whole village drank from it. And they all fell asleep gladly Mom didn't drink to keep herself a role model for me. The problem though was that Dad poured some to me in my cup. And I got drunk.
(Yes I got drunk that day with just one sip, I had no idea what was he thinking and what proved to mom I was drunk that I fell asleep with the men).
He put some in my cup of juice, his idea was that when he used to live in Milltibios he drank alcohol on a regular basis. That's when he was slightly older than me. And since I'm Miko, he thought it was a good idea.
(When I woke up I found both me and him were under punishment, for the entire month he wasn't allowed to touch Mom, as for my punishment she cut my allowed playing time to three hours for 10 days).
Also when I didn't see Sylphy there, I went to her house to bring her here to play with me and An. But what happened is dad poured me the cup afterwards and I got drunk and called Sylphy. (Little strawberry and called An idiotic jealous girl).
That almost put a rift in our friendship after saying sorry for both. They forgave me with demands. For Sylphy: she asked to tell me to tell her a secret about me so that she can hold it on me in exchange for forgiveness.
As for An, she wanted me to be her teacher officially, that's after I tell everything to our parents.
(When I asked her why she told me she wanted a good reason afterwards for the 3 of us to meet, just you know I don't know how or when or even why now Sylphy is her favourite friend and I'm right after her when I used to be after both Helen and Hanah).
That made me feel happy until those two girls tried to befriend us and when they saw Sylphy and they bullied her that made me snap and shoo them away.
And when An heard everything she broke up with them. I felt bad for her but she told me they didn't deserve to be her friends if they couldn't respect her only truefriends. (That brought a smile to my face).
Also something funny happened with Sam. She somehow bit my finger and without any tooth she managed to make a hole in it.
Which made a whole new joke about 'the village little hero' getting beaten by his 4 months old sister. The only problem is the Smiths and the Laws were home at the time. And everyone laughed at me because of this.
I didn't mind it. What happened is quite the opposite. I laughed with them and said she takes after her mother and she doesn't know how to hold back.
Which made Mom spank me for the first time in both lives. Apparently it was advice from Ms Ena about how to punish me physically. And she didn't really hold back. (I'm thankful for the existence of 『X-Healing』). Without it I would have cried for the entire day.
Also we made an agreement with the entire village that Samantha is Samantha Greyrat who is born to the Greyrat household. (And in an inmate family meeting we agreed that when she reaches the age of 15 we will tell her the truth, also if I get younger siblings we will never tell them the truth).
Also dad agreed to train her with me in Swordsmanship which made Mom say that wasn't the promise. (So after long talk and negotiation we reached a deal).
We will teach her to be Mom's apprentice in the clinic and we will also teach her swordsmanship to defend herself. As for what Mom gets if any of their sons got magic talent he will be teached both too. Lilla gave me a scowl at this.
(Well I used Sam for my own benefit, well that wasn't the plan, but midway through I decided to use her anyway).
As for why Lilla gave me that look she discovered my ability to use magic almost the second day of the interrogation because I wanted to help them with the water problem so I summoned a big 『Water Wall』 inside the Well to help us with the drought.
What happened was that it made a very high splashing sound when it hit the surface.

The next day I talked with her calmly and apologised for the prank.
And promised her when the time comes, I will tell my parents. And if she ever felt what I'm doing is wrong. She can tell my parents immediately without my permission.
That made her calm down a little, but she is still slightly afraid of me.
As for what I decided to do today is go with Mom to the clinic and try to give her a hint about my magical abilities.
(But that's in the afternoon, now in the early morning I'm free).
Oh right I forgot to talk about the magic tool and magic items. (The name of the strange accessories).
The necklace that was eating the 『Earth Lance』and any stone magic it was a rare magic item. (It works as an absorber to earth magic; its limit is 4 absorbs a day).
The earrings is a very rare yet very cheap defected magic tool, originally made for the royal family it absorbs mana in exchange it Deflects some of the incoming damage. Also I forgot to mention the more it absorbs the more stronger the Deflect poor dad he was sent flying when he attacked me with 『Sword Slice』 to let me learn it.
The ring was an unidentified unique magic tool Mom never saw one like this before. (I gifted it to dad because as a knight he will need it especially in the forest). It eats a little to none mana but it works perfectly. (If you want it to work wear it if not remove it and as long as it's recharged it will work).
(There was also a bracelet that was a magic item, it makes the wearer get drunk faster). That's what Mom told me about it. (Strangely though when she wore it she blushed immediately and lifted the punishment that was on dad and they were louder than the usual. (My brain gave me the wrong idea and I believed him, but decided to ignore what happened).
I sold it with the rest of the normal accessories. Dad said: a certain noble bought it from him for 5 gold coins. (The villagers didn't believe it).
(Because of the accessories sold and the money I gave to the villagers it was a total of 8 gold coins that was more than enough to keep the whole village eat for the entire year).
But I said if anyone dared to slack off because they have money I will take it back.
(As for the three wooden decorated pins, apparently they were three magic wands/rods. And Mom laughed at me because I thought they were pins Mom said: it is the same size as... my hand).
I gave her the most disgusted look that day. (I discovered the most useless information in both lives that day). Anyway I decided to keep them because for the future magicians in the house. (Me, Sam and future siblings).
Also for the first time I saw that we have a calendar. And today is (27/9/409).
That means I'm 2 years, half and 8 days old.
