Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: The World’s Rejection (Extra)

In the most remote and forgotten corners of the world, where time itself seemed to stall, countless eyes opened in unison.

An invisible pressure swept across the skies, as if the very firmament was tightening, as if the laws that govern this world began to twist.

At the summit of a snowy mountain, where the air was so thin that not even sound could survive, the cold was absolute. Breath froze before escaping the lips, and the winds howled like blades, cutting even the soul.

There, seated upon a throne carved from ice, a woman of supernatural beauty slowly opened her eyes.

Her pupils, of a glacial blue, reflected years of silence. She looked at the sky with a barely furrowed brow, as if she could see through the clouds.

Thousands of kilometers away, hidden among peaks surrounded by fog so dense that not even light penetrated, dark and ancient eyes opened. Silent. Almost inhuman. They shone with cold calmness, without emotion.

The body that contained them remained motionless like a statue, but its gaze rose to the sky… as if it could see the layers of the world overlapping. As if its vision tried to pierce the very laws of the Dao.

In the depths of the ocean, among abyssal cracks, beneath glaciers that have never touched sunlight, even in the cores of volcanoes silenced for ages… forgotten beings in slumber awakened.

One by one, they lifted their gaze. All towards the sky.

Because although there was no sun or visible stars, they all felt it: a vibration at the root of the world, like the first heartbeat of something that should never have existed.

Something was being born.

And the World Will felt it.

The World Will trembled with instinctive rejection. A subtle shudder that the great beings, those at the pinnacle of worldly power, perceived instantly.

An invisible malice began to emanate from the highest sky, as if something provoked the world's rejection.

The world did not accept it.

The sages tried to read the firmament. The ancients closed their eyes and tried to trace the cause. The ancient cultivators, those who could see the threads of karma intertwining, attempted to discover the direction of this tremor.

But the Way of Heaven closed.

Like a door sealed from the other side.

The World Will, omnipresent and relentless, blocked any attempt at vision, hiding the truth behind layers of unfathomable darkness. Reflections on lakes distorted. The stars stopped speaking. Even the oracles went mad, babbling nonsense before falling unconscious.

Something had happened, but the world did not want it seen.

Because what was being born did not follow the rules. It was an anomaly… a blasphemy against the eternal balance.

A power born without the blessing of the Dao.

And though it was still small, the world perceived it as a threat.
