Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

In 1991, despite the passing of time, the people of Northern Syria continued to face numerous challenges. A mysterious pandemic swept through the region, causing widespread chaos and destruction. The phenomenon, where unknown forces transferred souls into human bodies, led to antipathy and mistrust among the population, driving people away and resulting in robbery, murder, and the killing of innocent children.

Archeologist Refel, renowned for his expertise and interest in cultural superstitions, volunteered to investigate the pandemic's origin. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Northern Syria welcomed his arrival from the USA, and Portfolio Benjamin Franklin requested a state of emergency be declared.

However, by 1993, Refel's findings were met with skepticism. During a televised announcement on NS TV, he claimed that the pandemic was likely linked to a spiritual encounter or an underworld located in the Kurgansk mountain, a site steeped in mythological history as the supposed domain of the underworld god Kurgansk. The public and authorities alike dismissed his theories, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs declined his request to pursue further research, threatening to replace him if he didn't provide more concrete evidence.

Undeterred, Refel spent years studying the pandemic, convinced that he could uncover the truth and find a solution. By 1999, he had become determined to continue his research solo, believing that his experience and expertise would ultimately lead to a breakthrough.

It wasn't until 2007 that Refel, having saved enough money since 1991, was able to hire specialists and embark on his mission. The project finally gained momentum in 2009

Tragically, by 2011, Refel found himself trapped in the underworld of Kurgansk, locked in a gate room. His assistants had fallen victim to spiritual forces, including one entity known as KURGANSK.
