Chapter 110 - Chapter 110. Shopping

"If you weren't so charming, I wouldn't have this conversation with you. I'll give you my number in exchange, you treat me," So-Hee said.

"Are you shopping alone? If so, why not tag along with us? I'll treat you to whatever you want. In exchange, you go on a date with me. How does that sound? Better offer, right?" Neo replied with a smile

"Okay. I'll be tagging along with you, but I warn you, I love shopping, and this will be very expensive for you," So-Hee warned playfully.

"Don't worry. Buy as much as you want. I'll leave you be for now," Neo laughed as he walked away. He wasn't expecting this at all. Just one day in Seoul and he had already met the person he had a crush on for a long time.

So-Hee watched Neo depart, unable to suppress her smile. Neo was really handsome and charming, but the only downside was that he was a playboy. So-Hee just wanted to get to know him better, which is why she agreed to tag along. Also, the way Neo treated his tour guide and the private driver had really touched her heart.

Shaking her head, she began buying what she wanted. Initially, she planned to buy just a few things, but with Neo around, she decided to go all out.

After a few more minutes, So-Hee finished her shopping and returned to where Neo was sitting with his basket.

"Are you done, So-Hee?" Neo asked, looking at her basket and smiling. She had really bought a lot.

So-Hee noticed Neo's gaze and smiled sweetly. "Are you regretting it now? Hahaha. I didn't ask your name; what is it?"

"Hmm? My name is Neo, but you can call me Daddy," Neo joked, using one of Hoon's lines.

"That's corny, Neo. It's so common!" So-Hee laughed and sat beside him.

"We're waiting for my brother and his friend to finish," Neo explained.

"Why are you buying so many clothes anyway? Aren't you here to tour Seoul?" So-Hee asked, puzzled. It was unusual for someone to prioritize shopping on the first day when visiting a new country. From their earlier conversation with the tour guide, it seemed Neo and his friends had just arrived and still had twelve more days to spend there.

Usually, people who travel will buy this kind of thing when they are on their last day

"When we were leaving yesterday, I told my brother and sister that I would be buying my clothes here. So, they copied me, just like our friends." Neo responded.

"Basically, you're paying for all this? And where is your sister? I only saw four guys buying like nothing can stop them," So-Hee observed, having noticed George, Brent, Tristan, and Remi shopping enthusiastically.

"Yes. I'm quite wealthy, if you ask me. You know girls, they want to shop with their fellow girls. We separated, but maybe we'll bump into them in different stores." Neo shrugged.

"How rich are you? You're young but already so capable!" So-Hee inquired with curiosity.

"Rich, rich. look, they're finishing up!" Neo pointed out as he spotted the four guys approaching.

"We only separated for a few minutes, and you already attracted one of the most beautiful people in the world, Neo. Hello there, Miss Han So-Hee, I'm his brother George," George introduced himself.

"That's Neo for you!" Remi chimed in.

"Neo, I saw Hyung and Hoon are also done buying, but they're a little shy to bring their baskets," Tristan added.

"Help them. I'll wait for you at the counter. You know we need to be a little forceful with their reserved personalities," Neo said, walking toward the counter with So-Hee following him.

Neo brought his clothes to the cashier and allowed them to do their work. George and Hyung arrived with embarrassment in their expressions.

"Sir, are you paying for them? Can we do a single receipt?" the cashier asked.

"Yes. Please do," Neo replied. Soon, my purchased clothes were already in a bag, followed by So-Hee, George, Tristan, Remi, Brent, Hyung, and Hoon.

"Sir, your total is 311,601,880 ₩," the cashier announced. I handed her my card, and she swiped it.

"How much is 311 million won?" Tristan asked.

"Wait, let's use Google," Remi laughed. "That's about $226,967."

"Still far from a billion! Let's aim higher!" Brent chimed in.

"What billion are you talking about? Billion won?" So-Hee, who was listening, asked Brent.

"Ah, nothing much! We just have goals to spend billions today. We're competing against the girls," Remi explained.

"Billion won? You're almost there; just buy shoes or a watch!" So-Hee suggested.

"Won? No, no. Dollars! Neo said we could spend as much as we want!" Tristan exclaimed.

"What?! How can you spend a billion? Stop bluffing. Are you just playing wingman for Neo? I won't fall for that," she said, crossing her arms and glaring at Neo. She suspected that Neo had instructed them to say this in front of her.

"I thought you knew who Neo is! Miss So-Hee, don't follow strangers," Remi teased her.

"Who might he be? A billionaire? Billionaires don't spend like that, you know? You guys are just playing tricks on me," So-Hee said, choosing to ignore them.

We all laughed and left the Dior shop. We picked up a few more clothes and a couple of luxury shoes. Hyung and Hoon became quiet and stopped arguing, simply following us and buying what the others recommended. They remained reserved and didn't pick out anything for themselves; instead, Neo and the others chose clothes for them.

As for So-Hee, she just followed us and bought things while observing, saying very little.

"So-Hee, why so quiet? Let's buy more!" Neo encouraged.

"Why aren't you buying jewelry? If you want to spend billions, jewelry would be one of the best options," she suggested, helping her carry things since I had nothing to carry at the moment. Hyung and Hoon were taking our belongings to the car after each shop we visited as a way of thanking us.

"Ah, jewelry is off-limits for us. We don't need it! Let's go buy a nice watch," Neo laughed and suggested.

"Hoon, are there any shops that sell watches here?" Neo asked.

"There's a Rolex shop and some other brands, but I'm sure you're not looking for them. Follow me to a shop that sells different kinds of limited-edition watches," Hoon led us to the top floor of the department store, where we entered a luxury shop with only a few customers.

"Hello, how can we help you?" asked the clerk working in the shop.

"My friend said you collect and sell different kinds of limited-edition watches," Neo said.

"Yes, sir. We are quite famous for selling watches. Come inside," the clerk replied, leading us to a separate room where another person was waiting.

"Hello! Are you the one buying a watch? What are you looking for? Rolex, Patek? We have them," he said. He was the manager at the shop, responsible for negotiating sales.

"No. All of us will be buying. Show us the most expensive and most beautiful watches you have," Neo said.

The manager was slightly taken aback and observed Neo. After a moment, he decided to trust his intuition. He brought out papers detailing different kinds of watches and distributed them.

"The prices are listed here. Pick what you want to buy," the manager said.
