Bright streaks of lightning enveloped Uchiha Madara as his speed reached an unprecedented level, transforming him into a blur of electric light. Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama stared in disbelief at the sudden development.

They had never imagined that Madara's speed could reach such heights. This technique—known as Raiton: Raijū Shunshin—was extraordinary. Perhaps only Tobirama's Hiraishin no Jutsu could match or counter it.

Before they could fully process what was happening, Madara appeared before Hashirama in a flash. Without hesitation, he raised his lightning blade and slashed downward with overwhelming force, aiming to cut Hashirama clean in half!

"Block!"

Hashirama quickly brought up his katana to parry the attack.

The sound of screeching metal filled the air as sparks flew from the collision between Madara's lightning blade and Hashirama's katana.

Hashirama felt an immense surge of power coursing through the blade, pressing down on him with crushing force. Despite putting all his strength into resisting, he found himself unable to withstand the pressure.

With a single strike, Madara sent Hashirama crashing down. The sheer momentum shattered the tree beneath Hashirama's feet, sending him plummeting to the ground!

But Madara wasn't about to let up. In an instant, he descended from above, delivering another powerful slash with his lightning blade.

Once again, Hashirama blocked with his katana. Sparks erupted around them as cracks spread across the ground beneath Hashirama's feet. The sharp, corrosive nature of Madara's lightning chakra seeped through the blade, numbing Hashirama's hands.

"I can't keep taking hits like this," Hashirama thought grimly. Seizing an opportunity, he swung his katana horizontally, unleashing a translucent wave of energy.

The crescent-shaped slash cut through countless vines and trees in its path, creating a cacophony of splintering wood.

However, Madara had already vanished in a flash of lightning. Knowing his old rival well, Hashirama instinctively raised his katana behind his back just in time to block Madara's incoming strike.

Sparks burst forth once more as their blades clashed. With incredible agility, Hashirama twisted his body at an impossible angle and countered with a fierce thrust of his katana.

Madara sidestepped effortlessly, deflecting the thrust with his glowing blue lightning blade.

The two combatants stood locked in a deadly dance—a masterful display of close-quarters combat. One wielded a katana; the other, a condensed blade of pure lightning. Amidst the dense forest, their duel became a breathtaking spectacle of swordsmanship.

From his perch high up in the trees, Tobirama watched the battle unfold with growing astonishment. His brother Hashirama fought valiantly, wielding his katana with relentless precision. Each swing carried tremendous power, cutting through anything that dared stand in its way.

Yet, Madara was on another level entirely. His lightning blade, forged from compressed and concentrated lightning chakra, far surpassed the destructive potential of a mere katuna. Combined with his ability to teleport instantly using Raijū Shunshin, along with his overwhelming physical strength, Madara clearly held the upper hand.

Tobirama couldn't make sense of it. Over the years, the Senju and Uchiha clans had clashed repeatedly, and Hashirama and Madara had faced off countless times. While Madara had always been formidable in taijutsu, he had never before demonstrated such dominance over Hashirama. And then there was the matter of Madara's newfound mastery of Lightning Release—a stark departure from his usual Fire Release techniques, which he had previously excelled at.

How had Madara not only survived but grown stronger over the years? It was a question that gnawed at Tobirama's mind, almost becoming an obsession.

As he watched Hashirama struggle against the relentless assault of Madara's lightning-infused attacks, Tobirama resolved to step in if things took a turn for the worse. Only his Hiraishin no Jutsu could hope to counter Madara's Raijū Shunshin.

Meanwhile, deep within the forest, the battle between Hashirama and Madara reached its peak intensity. Their movements were blindingly fast, their weapons clashing dozens of times per second. Translucent energy waves and arcs of lightning erupted between them, obliterating trees with ease.

In less than two minutes, nearly every tree in the vicinity lay felled by their devastating exchanges.

Finally, during one last exchange, Madara used his Raijū Shunshin to appear directly in front of Hashirama, delivering a powerful downward slash that sent Hashirama flying backward.

Being relentlessly dominated in battle was something no one could endure—not even someone as resilient as Hashirama.

Skidding backward with his legs braced, Hashirama attempted to stop his retreat. However, Madara's advance was faster still. In the blink of an eye, he reappeared before Hashirama, thrusting his lightning blade forward.

Frustrated, Hashirama abandoned his katana and formed hand seals in rapid succession.

"Wood Release: Wooden Shield Technique!"

Two wooden shields, intricately carved with demonic faces, erupted from the ground on either side of Hashirama. They closed in around him protectively, trapping Madara's lightning blade between them.

For a brief moment, Madara paused, a faint smile playing on his lips. Then, with a surge of lightning chakra, his blade tore through the wooden barriers, reducing them to splinters.

By then, however, Hashirama had already retreated, landing lightly on a branch opposite Madara.

Seeing Hashirama discard his katana, Madara followed suit, sheathing his lightning blade.

"Hashirama," Madara declared, his voice calm yet triumphant, "in terms of taijutsu and weapon combat, you've lost this round."

As the dust settled, both warriors regarded each other warily. Though the fight had ended for now, neither doubted that the true battle was far from over.
