Lauren who has been waiting for Claire in his car stepped out immediately her saw her driving into her apartment parking lot.
Taking by surprise by the sudden pull from behind Claire screamed but Lauren lifted her on his shoulder.
"Put me down you psycho! Put me down" she said beating on his back but he didn't stop instead he tossed her into his car then got in afterwards.
"You're insane, how dear you treat me in such manner!" She queried but Lauren smoothly got unto the drivers seat and in a blink he drove off in full speed heading towards the bridge.
"What are you doing? Slow down, if you want to die do that yourself and I'll gladly mourn you" Claire told him but her words provoked him as he stepped more on the gas paddle zooming off the bridge, Claire held her chest in her hands shutting her eyes tightly.
"Get down" Lauren said to her but she refused not sure what he's gonna do with her. Not ready to waste his time and effort bringing her here he pulled her out but this time he did with care before carrying her in bridal style, out of instincts she rapped her hands on his neck causing Lauren to chuckle a little.
"What do you want to eat I'll fix us dinner" Lauren asked but Claire refused to talk to him, he sighed and went into the kitchen to prepare their meal.
Claire tried to escape but found out she doesn't know the serial code, she felt frustrated. 'what more can he do? Thank goodness am good in martial arts' she thought but the sweet aroma from the kitchen made her stomach to play drums.
"Come have some, hope you like it" Lauren said to her as he set up the table
"You wish" Claire said rolling her eyes at him
"Look babe am sorry for the way I handled you but you gave me know choice, it's been six weeks I've been trying to talk to you but you won't listen_ it would have been better I didn't make it back alive than to_" he was saying
"What? What do you mean make it back alive?" Claire asked looking at him
"Talk to me Lauren, what do you mean!" She asked again but Lauren scoffed as he sat down to eat.
"You should eat, I believe you've not had anything since you got off work" Lauren told her.
"Did you say that on purpose to get me_"
" Shut the fuck up Claire and eat the damn food" Lauren said now upset which Claire hasn't seen this side of him. She sat down eating her food silently, it's amazing how delicious the vegetable sauce egg and rice tasted.
"You should freshing up, it's been a rough day" Lauren told her as he showed her to the masters bedroom.
While he went into the guest room to shower.
"Want to see a movie?" Lauren asked her as she entered the living room.
"No Lauren, I'd prefer you explain what you meant by 'making it back alive'. Look am sorry for being unresponsive, I was just mad" Claire said
