Zane's POV~
I swallowed so hard I thought I might choke again.
Wasn't it obvious? I wanted all of that. Every single word he'd said.
And still, he waited. His gaze searched mine, steady and patient. He wasn't going to push. He wanted to hear it from me.
So I looked him straight in the eyes and asked, my voice low, breathless, and just barely above a whisper, "No drilling of my ass?"
A quiet chuckle rumbled from his chest, but his eyes stayed serious, dark with desire.
"Yes," he murmured, his voice rough with restraint. "I told you...I only want to make you feel good. I want us both to feel good. That's all."
His warm breath ghosted over my lips again, sending a shiver through me.
"I wouldn't go all the way without your permission."
I drew in a shaky breath, held it for a moment, then slowly let it out. My entire body felt tense with anticipation, strung so tight I thought I might snap if he didn't touch me again.
So I finally said what we were both waiting for.
