Today was supposed to be Commander Agiel's day off.
Various Enforcers could be seen herding civilians out of the way of the fire and away from the scene of the battle, and all around the commander were unconscious men and women with serious injuries. The enforcers kept a reasonable distance from Commander Agiel out of both fear and respect, and whispers could be heard from both the Enforcers and civilians nearby.
"Isn't that Commander Agiel? I heard people call her the Angel of Death online. She has the highest kill count in the Enforcers."
"I thought Enforcers weren't allowed to kill their victims."
"No, most of them just don't do it. The Enforcers' law allows an Enforcer to kill a rogue superhuman if they can't capture them alive."
"Wow, no wonder the superhumans are terrified of them!"
"Did you see how she broke that building? She used that woman's skull like a battering ram! Their Gifts didn't even do any damage to Agiel!"
