"I want to continue my drink, with only Elijah bothering me. I suggest you leave my side," Tyrion said, anger quickly replacing his patience.
"Forgive me if my words were out of line-"
"They were very out of line not only to the husband of the woman you speak of, but to her brother. Walk away while it is still possible for you to do so," Tyrion advised Zane.
Zane smiled, revealing his pearly whites. "I am not afraid, Prince Tyrion. You forget where you stand. All kinds of indecent talk is said here, but unlike the women, we won't gossip about what you say. It isn't uncommon to speak of wives behind closed doors."
"Many of us have been curious about the twins," Zane said, gathering the attention of the other men present.
Zane knew the other men were thinking the same, but he was the only one who was bold enough to say out loud what everyone else had been saying in secret.
