Caspian went down between Lowena's splayed legs and licked her most intimate area. Lowena's hands grabbed at the sheet, slicing and tearing into it with her werewolf strength. Wherever his tongue went, she couldn't help but match his rhythm. Her body wanted him, ached for him. She had never felt such desires before.
Caspian sneakily slid his fingers inside her tight body, her legs wrapped around his neck. He placed his other hand upon her abdomen in the hope of easing the heat within her. Absorbing it wouldn't be the best idea, but she needed to remain a virgin until her birthday.
The way her insides wrapped around his fingers made his erection grow; slowly, he felt the tension in her body ease.
"Fuck!" Lowena moaned.
Lowena felt a familiar, enticing burn that began to build deep inside her. The warmth of Caspian's hand seemed to aid in its build-up as she felt herself climax faster than she ever had before. Caspian pulled back from Lowena, resisting his urge to devour her virginity.
"Why are you stopping?" Lowena pouted, sitting upright.
"Because the King of Faries knows better," Kage answered, crouching on the windowsill.
Both Lowena and Caspian veered over to Kage as he stepped inside.
"King Kage," Caspian gritted.
Kage forcefully bowed his head out of respect, "You know better, Caspian."
"Who are you to make a comment when you came here for just the same reason?" Caspian countered, "Lowena's heat is irresistible; her scent is overpowering, and both the alpha and witch in her make her unmatched as a mate for any man."
"Stop!" Lowena whimpered. Ugh! This is so frustrating! I want to go back to the party."
"That's not the best idea-"
"I don't give a damn!" she spat, putting back on her celebration garbs.
Lowena stomped to the window, frustratingly shoving past both men before looking at the party below. Something overcame her. She glanced at the ground unafraid and stepped off the windowsill.
"Lowena!" both Kage and Caspian hollered after her.
With animal-like reflexes, Lowena landed in the crouched position. Hastily, she ran into the crowds of people who wanted to be free of all of it. Kage, Kieran, Caspian, Eli, everything that came crashing into her world not even four days ago. Lost in thought, Lowena's run came to a halt as she collided with a woman.
"Agh!" Lowena yelped as she fell to the ground.
It was as if she slammed into a brick wall.
"Are you alright?" the woman asked while extending a helping hand.
"Sorry," Lowena apologized.
"It's alright. I think you hurt yourself more than you hurt me," she giggled.
Lowena looked at the gorgeous woman standing before her. In awe of her beauty, Lowena opened her mouth, but no words could form. The woman's long white hair fell past her hips, her silk white dress barely covering her voluptuous breasts and hips. The way her blue eyes glowed in the night like whisps.
"Are you the lady of the hour?" she asked.
"S-sorry," Lowena blushed in embarrassment from how she was gawking at the woman, "I'm Lowena."
"Ahh, so this celebration is for you. The Hybrid," she clarified.
"Yes," Lowena sighed. She was unaware everyone knew more about her than she did, "I'm sorry I never got your name."
"I'm Arcana," she introduced, taking Lowena's hand and helping her.
Lowena's eyes widened in shock, and she leaped to her feet as if a strong man had jerked her upright.
"Nice to meet you," Lowena smiled, "You're powerful."
"I am magic," she replied.
"What do you mean?" Lowena questioned.
Arcana dropped her head, inhaled sharply, and smiled before presenting a chalice to Lowena. There were two separate pictures of the tarot card that Lowena received on either side of the old chalice. It was heavy in her hands, cold, nearly chilling her to the bone. She glanced down at the clear liquid and took a sip. It was sickeningly sweet, so it made her mouth tighten in response. As she swallowed, it was as if an incinerator was flushing intoxicating smoke down her throat. A tear of ecstasy trickled down her cheek as Lowena threw her head back.
"Come, I'll explain what I mean," Arcana offered.
Lowena nodded and slowly walked with her.
