Sally froze when she saw Quin there. She took a step back, tripped on her own foot, and fell to her butt. She kept her eyes locked on him; she dared not look away.
"You felt good, right?" Quinn suddenly spoke. He glanced at her, no expression on his face, just an empty blank look that said nothing about what he was thinking.
"What are you talking about?" she gathered herself and asked.
"I'm just asking. It felt good being able to make a plan and execute it, with the belief that you would be taking over the academy, right?" he asked, looking at her again.
She had no response. She simply stared at him, her mind racing, thinking of ways that she could handle the issue she had found herself in.
"Sigh, you were good, as a teacher, as a role model," he said. He pushed himself up, standing on the roof and looking at her.
