Riven turned when he felt something was wrong, but it was already too late. Zack stabbed him, and at the same time, Jake slashed Zack's arm.
But Zack didn't flinch when his hand was cut. He smiled—an evil grin. But the grin faded when he noticed that Riven had not scattered into light particles.
Riven smiled and kicked Zack in the chest before pulling out the sword and throwing it aside.
"Huh? How?" Zack asked in shock.
"The island only takes away people whom it feels the attack will kill. The island has all our information, and it knows who would die from an attack.
Your stab could not kill me. That was entirely pathetic," Riven said. Suddenly, the blood from Zack's arm floated up and began fixing Jake's wound right before Zack's eyes.
"How did you do that? And how did you know all that?" Zack asked, confused and shocked.
