Soul Land—Chapter 91: Ah Yin Opened Her Eyes

When Yu Xiaogang heard Tang San's words, he subconsciously wanted to refute them. But after thinking it over carefully, he felt that it might make sense.

After all, the Blue Silver Grass itself is not poisonous. He had asked Tang San to absorb the soul ring of the Datura Snake—to add some toxicity to the Blue Silver Grass, making it more combat-effective.

This was itself a transformation and improvement of the Blue Silver Grass. So, why not take it a step further and try to absorb soul rings with other elements? If it could compensate for the weaknesses of plant-type martial souls, it might be worth a try.

Thinking of this, Yu Xiaogang's eyes grew deep.

He felt that Tang San's idea might be feasible. Although Blue Silver Grass was widely recognized as a useless martial soul, Xiao San's Blue Silver Grass seemed to have a strong adaptability to soul rings of other attributes, and perhaps could indeed absorb soul rings with different elements.

Moreover, this idea came from Ling Qianyao, the genius who discovered whale glue and reached the realm of Soul Ancestor before the age of 12. Surely, it should be feasible.

After pondering, Yu Xiaogang said to Tang San, "You can try, but make sure to prioritize poison attribute and toughness as your first conditions. The element can only be incidental."

Tang San nodded heavily. He thought the same. As expected, he was worthy of being the teacher's apprentice—both of them possessed incredible wisdom and thought along the same lines.

"Teacher, don't worry. I will make Blue Silver Grass more powerful and won't let you down. The correctness and foresight of your theory will surely be verified through me," Tang San said solemnly.

Yu Xiaogang nodded with satisfaction, and an indescribable pride surged in his heart, satisfying his vanity.

As the disciple who knelt and acknowledged him as his father when they first met, who else could compare to his unwavering belief in his theory?

Even Flanders and Liu Erlong, the other two members of the Golden Iron Triangle, couldn't do it!

He knew that Tang San relied on and admired his father, Tang Hao, and as his second father, he must hold a pivotal position in his heart.

Proving the correctness of his theory was only the first step. He planned to rely on Tang San, a rare twin martial soul genius of the century, to ascend step by step to dominate the soul master world.

What was wrong with having a martial soul considered a waste? What if he remained at level 29 for life, unable to breakthrough to soul elder? If he could teach an Ultimate Douluo, wouldn't the entire soul master world have to recognize his status and look up to him?

'When the world of soul masters admires Tang San's style, those who once looked down on me and laughed at me will be silenced by his achievements! And I will be remembered forever!'

As for Ling Qianyao, he admitted that the latter's talent and opportunities were top-notch, qualifying him to be a strong man, but in the face of Tang San's twin martial souls, everything else was in vain. He could only look up to Tang San in the future.

——

That night, in a hotel room in Beidi City, Beidi Province.

The branches and leaves of the Blue Silver Empress beside the bed swayed gently. After Zhu Zhuqing and Ling Qianyao fell asleep, her leaves slowly extended and quietly explored Ling Qianyao's position.

Gentle and cautious, as if afraid of disturbing the dreamer.

The moonlight shone through the gap in the curtains, casting a hazy silver glow into the room. The Blue Silver Empress's leaves appeared even more crystal clear and moist.

The branches first touched Ling Qianyao's sleeve, then moved upward until they reached his cheek and stopped at his lips.

Like a human, the leaves tilted as if curiously observing the sleeping man, hesitating whether to get closer.

The branches extended slightly toward Zhu Zhuqing, then retreated. One leaf lingered on Ling Qianyao's cheek, while the rest of the branches lay quietly in his arms.

A faint fragrance exuded from them, refreshing and calming. Ling Qianyao, still asleep, seemed to feel this gentleness, breathing more steadily, a contented smile on his lips.

Zhu Zhuqing slept soundly beside him, her breathing even and steady, unaware of everything happening around her.

No one could see this.

Gradually, a blue-gold shadow emerged in Ling Qianyao's arms—wearing a blue-gold palace dress, with a slender, graceful figure, and a gentle smile on her beautiful face: Ah Yin.

She nestled in Ling Qianyao's arms, and at a certain moment, Ah Yin raised her head.

"Hmm."

Accompanied by a charming low moan, her eyes, which had been closed, slowly opened. A flash of starlight appeared in her eyes and the star pattern on her forehead.

She propped herself up, looked at Ling Qianyao gently, and her lips moved as if searching for the right words, finally whispering:

"Qianyao."

"I like it."

She tilted her head, a smile in her eyes. Gently, she raised her hand, and her fingertips brushed Ling Qianyao's chin, stopping at his lips.

Ah Yin blinked, then glanced at Zhu Zhuqing beside Ling Qianyao. The intimate scene between Zhu Zhuqing and Ling Qianyao earlier flashed through her mind.

She looked again at Zhu Zhuqing's delicate head resting on Ling Qianyao's arm, pursed her lips, and a complex emotion surged within her.

She retracted her gaze, her eyes flashing with cunning brilliance. Her heart throbbed—she could no longer hold back. Gently, she leaned in and pressed her soft lips against his.

They separated almost instantly—just a touch between souls, without any physical contact. Yet she seemed to feel his temperature, deep in her heart.

A faint smile appeared on her face, blending pride and deep attachment.

Then she snuggled back into Ling Qianyao's arms. For the first time, she stretched out her jade arms and held him—though only in soul form.

She had begun to get used to this way of expressing her feelings—accompanying him in this manner, in soul form.

Ah Yin gradually regained some consciousness. Though her awareness seemed only slightly more alert than instinct, she was indeed beginning to recover.

The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight shone through the gap in the curtains, Ah Yin opened her eyes again.

Her soul appeared more solid and clearer than the night before.

Ling Qianyao, in her sight, was stirring slightly, about to wake up. Ah Yin blinked, then returned to the body of the Blue Silver Empress.

"Hmm."

Ling Qianyao rubbed his sleepy eyes. The sleep had been deeper than usual. He vaguely remembered having a strange dream but couldn't recall the details.

He looked to the side—Zhu Zhuqing was still curled up in his arms, sleeping peacefully. He touched his lips thoughtfully, "Strange feeling."

Looking again at the Blue Silver Empress swaying in the morning breeze, with crystal dew glistening on its leaves, he wondered:

"She seems to have grown a little. Where did this dew come from?"
