"What is wrong with him?" I asked, looking from Dr Cole to Levi and then back to Dr Cole.
"Levi seemed to have really sensitive ears
The lowest sounding sound could upset him." Dr Cole explained, and I nodded impatiently. I knew all that already, I wanted to know what caused his jerky movements.
"I noticed. But what happened today? He's never jerked this way." I asked.
"It seemed like he was exposed to noise or a recurring vibration for a long time." Dr Cole explained, and I suddenly remembered the bachelor's party which was currently going on. Although the sound was relatively low, there had been vibrations from the high-powered speakers which reverberated in the room.
"Is there a permanent solution to this condition?" I asked. I recalled how he would scream at the slightest noise made by either of his siblings or anyone else.
"I'm afraid not. But it can be managed by reducing the incidence of high-pitched sounds and vibrations." Dr Cole advised, and I nodded.
