"Sofiya?"
He accidentally blurted out.
A girl with baby pink hair and bright green eyes.
"Oh? So you remember my name?" She smiled, two dimples appearing on her cheeks.
"And what's with the bandage around your mouth?"
She asked curiously, then sat beside him.
Taking a small jotter, he swiftly wrote a reply and showed her.
(Can't talk, it's prohibited.)
"Ah? Are you... by any chance, cursed?"
She asked hesitantly.
Kaiser looked her straight in the eyes, as if gauging her intentions, then nodded.
"I see." She sighed. "You can still read right?"
Seeing her grin, Kaiser almost chuckled but held back.
"Oh, now I remember. I don't know your name."
Kaiser raised a brow in surprise, then wrote.
(Kaiser.)
"Kaiser, huh?" She let the name roll off her tongue, then grinned. "Can I call you Kai?"
She asked politely, ordering two cups of coffee from a mobile coffee shop.
'A nickname? Been long since I had one.' He thought, then nodded.
