The Jeju-bound plane buzzed with quiet conversations and the occasional hum of the engine. Minji sat by the window, her fingers tapping restlessly on the armrest. Her knee bounced under the tray table, eyes fixed on the white clouds drifting past.
She could see the soft streaks of condensation trailing along the window, the occasional flicker of sunlight bouncing off the wing. There was a strange stillness in the sky, despite the rush of everything inside her.
Mun sat beside her, arms crossed as he stared straight ahead. After a while, he turned to her. "You okay?"
"I didn't mean to scare her," Minji said softly, her voice weighed down with guilt. "I'm just worried."
Mun gave a small nod, his gaze gentle. "I know. We both are. But she's not alone, Minji. Jin Woo's with her. And Tae Joon can't do much if we're all together."
Minji leaned her head back with a sigh. "Still. I won't breathe easy until I see her myself."
