What do you mean "forget it"? Sophie felt a bit unwilling and could only continue her protest.
"These clothes are really uncomfortable to wear."
"Uncomfortable? If you're uncomfortable, let me help you out."
Sophie had yet to process what Asher Land meant when he pushed her to the corner and locked the door behind him.
"What are you doing?"
"Didn't you say it was uncomfortable to wear? Then just take it off." His large hand reached around her back and, with a strong pull, ripped the dress zipper open.
"Hey, you..."
Now the issue wasn't just about whether the clothes were comfortable or not, it was that she might end up without any clothes to wear!
"Asher Land, you scoundrel!"
Asher didn't care what she thought of him at the moment. Since she called him a scoundrel, he might as well act unscrupulously.
And so, another round of tender passion ensued.
Sophie wrapped herself tightly with the blanket, glaring at the tattered clothing on the ground with irritation.
