As Ken ventured toward the Land of Earth, he first arrived in a strange and haunting place known only as the Land of Nowhere. There, shadowy creatures emerged, trying to halt his path. He faced them head-on with courage, but he soon realized something disturbing—the closer he moved toward Infinity, the more powerful and chaotic the Land of Nowhere became.
It was as if the land itself was alive, feeding off the cosmic energy ahead.
Channeling his will into the Element of Earth, Ken gained strength and began defeating the creatures one by one. But these enemies were far stronger than those he'd faced before. Every strike took more from him. Every battle was more brutal. Still, with great struggle, he pushed forward and finally reached the Land of Earth.
And that's when he felt it.
A presence. A power.
Unlike anything he had ever sensed—not even the Fire or Water Dragons had made him feel this way. This was fear—pure, bone-deep fear.
The ground beneath him quaked. Stones trembled. And then, from deep within the earth, the Earth Dragon rose with an overwhelming aura. For the first time on this journey... Ken was afraid.
The dragon's voice echoed like a thousand landslides.
"Human... why have you come? What do you seek? This land belongs to the dead now."
Ken stood firm, trying to silence the trembling within his chest.
"I've come to obtain the Sword of the Universe," he declared. "I need it to defeat the Dark Dragon—and rescue my father."
The Earth Dragon studied him for a moment, then spoke again—this time with sorrow in his deep, ancient voice.
"This land wasn't always like this. The Land of Nowhere didn't exist when the first Universal Sword was sealed within Infinity. We—my three brothers and I—lived in harmony, guarding that sacred place."
A long pause followed before he continued.
"But then the Dark Dragon came. With him, he brought the Army of Darkness. They invaded our world... and destroyed everything. We fought bravely—but we were not enough. Survivors came to this land, hoping for refuge... but the Dark Dragon descended here himself."
His voice shook with pain.
"I watched him slaughter them all. And I—helpless—lay broken on the ground. That day, this land became a place of the dead."
Ken's eyes widened. The story filled him with grief—and resolve.
"What happened after that?" he asked.
"Did the Dark Dragon reach Infinity?"
"He tried," the Earth Dragon replied. "But Infinity can only be entered by those of strong and pure will. Lexus—the Guardian of the Sword—stood against him. Their battle was legendary. Lexus had the power to end it... but he held back. His duty bound him. The Dark Dragon escaped. And since then... we four dragons have carried a guilt that has festered into darkness."
Ken stepped forward, his determination igniting.
"Then let me help. I'll free you from your guilt. I'll defeat your darkness."
He looked up.
"But tell me... this Land of Nowhere—how did it come to be? You said there were only four lands."
The Earth Dragon's expression darkened.
"Even we do not know. The Land of Nowhere appeared after the battle with the Dark Dragon. We believe it was created by a mysterious power—perhaps to shield our world. It is always moving, shifting through paths unknown. That's why the location of Infinity is now impossible to find."
Ken asked the question burning in his heart.
"Then... who created it? Who created Infinity?"
The dragon's body rumbled with fury. His voice thundered through the skies.
"I do not know!"
His aura exploded outward. Ken felt the earth beneath him tremble and crack.
"Human! I have answered your questions. And I can sense it—you are the one who sealed my brothers, the Fire and Water Dragons. Now, you must face me. Prove yourself worthy!"
