Flying above the airspace of Mt. Moon stood Azure on top of his Dragonite, searching the area. Perched over his shoulder was Pikachu as he tried locating Red in a disappointing tone, "This is where they're supposed to have battled, but… I can't seem to find where they're located. This is deeply troubling…"
Azure intentionally allowed Red to face Bruno, knowing what was to occur. And even received the information from Red before the location, as he tried to locate him around Mt. Moon in the air.
Azure's eyes narrowed as he checked his Arc Phone for his team's current level, muttering seriously, "Did I underestimate the Elite Four too much? I wonder if they're that strong with my Team's current level."

After checking his team's current power, he used his resources to obtain some TM's or tools needed for them to be this strong. He couldn't help but sigh, seeing that despite the past 2 years, he could only reach his main team in the 60-70 levels.
He wondered why that was the case as he recalled Prof. Oak's words. He remembered that the Professor had mentioned of a leveling system.
From the beginning of the series, Red's Team was around the 30s in the first volume, where his main team was in the 80s after 5 years of constant training with their Pokémon. Realizing this, Azure sighed helplessly as he muttered, "Sigh… so in 3 or 2 more years, my main team will be around the 80s during that time. Just like Green, Blue, and Red. Hmm… that's mildly concerning but…"
Slowly grinning, Azure looked at the newest accessory on his hand. On his hand was a custom-made glove, embedded in the middle was the Key Stone, as he said proudly, "It was a pain, but I've finally understood and can Mega Evolve Scizor. If those Elite Four try something, it's time to show them what the power of Mega Evolution can do. Right?"
Scizor in its Poke Ball slyly grinned at this, gaining the power to match against Azure's top Pokémon. Inside, deep within one of Scizor's pincers, was a colored Mega Stone of Scizorite, its held item.
Focusing on searching for Red, they tried to locate him. Azure closed his eyes, reminiscing about training privately, learning and training about Mega Evolution…

The Indigo Plateau stood as a distant memory, etched in Azure Sky's mind as vividly as the countless battles he'd faced. Winning the Pokémon League had been a dream realized, a testament to the bond he shared with his incredible team.

His team was sprawled around him in the open field outside Pallet Town, basking in the late afternoon sun. Pikachu, his ever-loyal partner, napped on his shoulder, its electric pouches occasionally sparking with contented energy.
Eevee, its fluffy tail twitching, chased butterflies through the tall grass. Gengar, always a mischievous spirit, floated lazily overhead, occasionally phasing in and out of view, startling the Pidgey that dared to fly too close.
Arcanine, a majestic guardian, kept a watchful eye on the surroundings, its powerful form a reassuring presence. Dragonite, a gentle giant, munched happily on a pile of berries, its kind eyes reflecting the clear blue sky.
And then there was Scizor. The Pincer Pokémon stood a short distance away, its crimson exoskeleton gleaming in the sunlight.
Its steely pincers, powerful enough to crush boulders, rested on the ground. Azure could sense the raw power simmering beneath its hardened shell, a power he knew was capable of even greater heights.
Azure himself sat cross-legged, his Key Stone resting against his chest, sending out waves of calming energy. He had acquired the Key Stone early in his journey, a gift from a grateful Mr. Fuji after he'd helped Lavender Town get rid of Team Rocket.
The Scizorite, the Mega Stone specifically designed to resonate with Scizor, he'd purchased from Steven, swindling him without the Devon Corp Heir realizing the true value he gave off-handedly. The first few attempts at Mega Evolution had been… chaotic.
The surge of energy had been overwhelming, too much for both him and Scizor to handle. They'd managed the transformation, briefly glimpsing the awe-inspiring form of Mega Scizor, but the connection had been unstable, and the transformation had quickly dissipated, leaving Scizor exhausted and Azure drained.

Placing a hand over Scizor's shoulder, using his Viridian Force to heal him. Azure said, his voice calm and encouraging, "Alright, Scizor. Let's try again. Remember what we talked about. Focus. Trust. We must be in sync."
Scizor clicked its mandibles in acknowledgement, its multifaceted eyes focusing intently on Azure. Azure closed his own eyes, filtering out the sounds of the field – Eevee's playful yips, Dragonite's contented chewing, even Pikachu's gentle snores.
He focused solely on Scizor, visualizing its strength, its unwavering loyalty, and the burning desire for battle that resided within its heart. It helped that with Viridian Force that he could feel Scizor's emotions, thoughts, and intent.

The Key Stone pulsed with light, resonating with the Scizorite held securely on Scizor's left pincer. A swirling vortex of energy erupted, enveloping Scizor in a blinding aura.
Azure felt a surge of power coursing through his veins, a raw, untamed force that threatened to overwhelm him. He fought to control it, channeling it through his will, directing it towards Scizor.
The transformation began. Scizor's hardened shell shimmered, its form contorting and expanding. Spikes erupted from its back, and its pincers grew even larger, now adorned with menacing spikes.
The metallic sheen of its exoskeleton intensified, becoming almost blindingly bright. Two smaller pincers sprouted from its head like a crown, adding to its already imposing presence...
*CRACK*
The vortex subsided, cracking the rainbow shell, and Mega Scizor stood before him, a testament to the power of their bond. It was magnificent, a perfect fusion of steel and ferocity. The air crackled with barely contained energy.
Azure felt a surge of exhilaration, mixed with a healthy dose of awe. He had done it. They had done it.
He breathed, his voice filled with wonder, "Mega Scizor…"
Mega Scizor roared, a sound that echoed across the field, silencing even Gengar's playful giggles, "SCIZOOOOOOOR!!!!"
It flexed its massive pincers, the sound of metal grinding against metal ringing in the air. Azure said, his voice now filled with confidence, "Alright, Scizor. Let's see what you can do! Use Bullet Punch on that boulder over there!"
Mega Scizor didn't hesitate. It launched itself forward with incredible speed, a blur of red and steel. Its pincers slammed into the boulder with devastating force, each blow accompanied by a thunderous crack.
*BOOOM*
The boulder, which had stood for years, crumbled into dust under the relentless assault. Azure watched in amazement.
The power of Mega Scizor was truly terrifying. But even more impressive was the level of control Scizor exhibited. It wasn't just unleashing raw power; it was channeling it with precision and focus.
They spent the next few hours training, experimenting with Mega Scizor's newfound abilities. Azure guided it through a series of drills, helping it to master its enhanced strength, speed, and agility.
He worked with it on controlling its Bug and Steel-type moves, refining its X-Scissor, Iron Head, and Metal Claw attacks.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the field, Azure called a halt to their training. Mega Scizor, though still brimming with energy, was starting to show signs of strain as if melting with Gengar in its shadow, taking away the heat.
Azure said, placing a hand on its hardened leg using his Viridian Force to heal it, "Alright, Scizor. That's enough for today. You were amazing."
Mega Scizor clicked its mandibles in acknowledgement, its eyes softening slightly. Azure could feel its pride, its satisfaction with the progress it had made.

With a final surge of energy, the Mega Evolution subsided, and Scizor returned to its original form. It stumbled slightly, fatigue evident in its posture.
Azure immediately pulled out a Potion and sprayed it on Scizor, healing its minor injuries. He then offered it a specially prepared nutrient paste, designed to replenish its depleted energy reserves. Azure said, stroking its head, "You did great, Scizor. We're getting there. We're almost there."
Scizor nuzzled against Azure's hand, its trust and affection unwavering. He looked around at his team, each of them watching him with pride and admiration of their teammate growing stronger.
Pikachu leaped off his shoulder and scampered over to Scizor, nuzzling against its leg. Eevee followed suit, its fluffy tail wagging furiously.
Gengar materialized beside them out of its shadow, offering a playful pat on Scizor's head. Arcanine let out a soft bark of encouragement, and Dragonite offered Scizor a handful of berries.
Azure smiled. He had always known that his team was special, but this day had solidified it. They weren't just a collection of powerful Pokémon; they were a family. They supported each other, encouraged each other, and pushed each other to be their best.
As darkness enveloped the field, Azure set up camp. He cooked a simple meal for himself and his Pokémon, and they sat around the campfire, sharing stories and laughter. The stars twinkled overhead, mirroring the spark of ambition in Azure's eyes.

Azure smiled, recalling the memory. He sighed out loud as he muttered, "Sigh… I just hope Lance will push me. It's hard to find other strong Trainers these days…"
But his eyes hardened, seeing no signs of Red as he muttered calmly, "Do I have to wait for someone to save him before me…"
Azure couldn't help but be helpless in this situation. But he couldn't do much about it as he continued to search till he found Red one way or another…
