Ichigo read the characters on the wall out loud, one by one, utterly confused.
"Ara ara, today happens to be the regular meeting day for the Women's Soul Reaper Association. And of course, the topic of discussion is none other than the hottest topic in Soul Society right now—Kurosaki Ichigo, the boy from the living world. So, I brought the man himself along," Unohana Retsu said with a light smile.
"Retsu-nee, if you keep this up, I'm going to stop trusting you…"
Ichigo gave her a look of resignation.
"Really? I seem to recall someone saying he wanted to learn kenjutsu from me, and back then, his attitude was quite different," Unohana smiled even more brightly.
Ichigo covered his face. Yeah, this was on him. Back then, when he had just met Unohana, he obviously hadn't trusted her fully.
But now that she was digging up old dirt, he had no choice but to go along with her.

Still, as Ichigo watched the women file into the room one after another, he was seriously starting to lose it.

Vice President: Ise Nanao.
Chairwoman: Unohana Retsu.
Members included:
2nd Division Captain Soi Fon,
4th Division Lieutenant Kotetsu Isane,
5th Division Lieutenant Hinamori Momo,
10th Division Lieutenant Matsumoto Rangiku,
12th Division Lieutenant Nemu Kurotsuchi,
13th Division 3rd Seat Kotetsu Kiyone...
Oh, and the Kuchiki family's young lady herself—Rukia.
They had basically gathered all the female high-rankers in the Gotei 13. Honestly, if their president weren't the ever-adorable Yachiru, anyone would think this organization was plotting a coup. Even Yamamoto Genryūsai might buy into that theory.
Every single one of them looked at Ichigo like he was a rare zoo exhibit. The intense stares made Ichigo squirm as if ants were crawling all over his skin.
Except for one.
Captain Soi Fon of the 2nd Division… blushed.
That alone made every woman in the room turn and stare at her and Ichigo, suspicion written all over their faces.
Unohana took a sip of tea and said with mock innocence,
"Ara ara, I had no idea you and Captain Soi Fon were already acquainted, Ichigo?"
Immediately, Rukia's death glare hit him like a wave, while the others all had classic gossip-lover expressions on their faces.
Ichigo stiffened and frantically held up his hands.
"No! Absolutely not! This is only the second time I've met Captain Soi Fon!"
Unohana believed him. The others? Not so much. All eyes turned to Soi Fon, whose expression was visibly off.
She cleared her throat and tried to remain composed.
"I was merely curious about Kurosaki Ichigo, so I looked at him a few extra times."
Yeah… that only made things worse.
Everyone knew Soi Fon was cold, ruthless, and extremely efficient. Who would believe she was simply "curious"?
Ichigo looked like he wanted to melt into the floor.
Big sis, we're not even close! Please stop setting me up!
But in Soi Fon's mind, things were... complicated.
She was still replaying Yoruichi's words in her head:
"The first few decades I was hiding from Aizen. The rest? Well… I took a liking to Ichigo and figured I'd raise him as my little husband. Say, Soi Fon, want to come along as part of the bridal gift?"
Yeah… that was a joke.
But Soi Fon? She took it seriously.
"So… this is the man Yoruichi-sama has chosen? If I marry into the Kurosaki family too… I can sleep next to Yoruichi-sama every night!"
Yep. Dangerous. Female simp logic was truly terrifying.
All because of one sentence from Yoruichi, Soi Fon had already planned out the honeymoon!
Fortunately, Unohana and Rukia trusted Ichigo enough not to push the issue.
Unohana coughed lightly, signaling Yachiru to speak up.
"Alright, let's start today's meeting!"
Instantly, everyone straightened and took their seats.
Vice President Ise Nanao adjusted her glasses and brought up the projector.
"Today's topic: The Hero Who Saved Soul Society — The Death God From the Living World, Kurosaki Ichigo."
And with that, a slide of Ichigo in Bankai appeared on the wall—captured during his battle against Aizen.
No one knew who took the photo. Who had the presence of mind to take a picture during that moment? That person was either brave… or insane.
Ichigo stared at the screen, hand over his face.
This is public execution…
Especially because every single female Soul Reaper was watching intently.
Many of them had witnessed the battles firsthand.
Yachiru had recorded the fight against Kenpachi Zaraki.
Unohana had taken mental notes of the fight with Byakuya.
The Aizen battle? That one came courtesy of Nanao and Rukia.
As for Ichigo's daily life? Unohana and Rukia had that covered.
In short—they had stripped him bare.
Ichigo sat stiffly, feeling like he was being roasted alive. His hand hovered over his Hollow mask—tempted to just wear it out of shame.
Fighting Aizen is easier than this, he thought.
Matsumoto Rangiku, meanwhile, was giving Ichigo a strange look.
Forget the fact that he was Shiba Isshin's son. Just seeing how he had fought and protected Rukia so fiercely made her… envious.
She still couldn't understand why Gin betrayed Soul Society.
Poor woman…

Everyone else, though, was looking at Ichigo with clear admiration.
Especially Rukia—after all, she had been the center of every one of those events.
Her eyes on Ichigo were positively glowing, almost like she was about to—
