Inside a dimly lit room, Daisy's eyelids trembled as she slowly regained consciousness.
"Where... am I? Hello?" she muttered, trying to move.
But her body refused to cooperate. Because she was tied to a chair with thick ropes, so tight that her hands had gone numb from lack of blood flow.
"Boss, this one's awake too. Should I bring her out?" a male voice called from outside the room.
Creak!
The door slowly opened, revealing a group of thugs. They were those thugs she had seen alongside that monster.
As their distorted shadows stretched across the floor, looming over her, she was terrified.
"Am I going get violated?"
"W-What do you want from me?!" Daisy demanded, her voice trembling. "My friend's father is a powerful man! If you touch me, he won't spare any of you!"
The thugs only grinned wider.
"Haha... Little lady, you don't know who you're dealing with," one of them chuckled. "Ever heard of gods? Our boss is one of them."
They burst into laughter.
