Chapter 106: Day 0
After that, all five sisters gathered together.
They went through a period filled with knowledge under Sakurai Saki's lectures.
Everyone was cheerful, everyone was happy.
Right? Yotsuba studied so hard her eyes were almost rolling back from overload.
Yotsuba: (๑﹏๑)
And Itsuki, who had resolutely refused snacks—yet in the end, she couldn't resist temptation. She gave in and devoured them like there was no tomorrow, and now lay sprawled out, stuffed full.
Itsuki: (* ´ ﹃`*)
As for Miku, she still firmly held her stance: study history seriously, as for the other subjects... whatever.
Miku: ( ,,⩌'︿'⩌,,)
"Nino, could you not look at me like that?" Sakurai Saki noticed that Nakano Nino wasn't good at hiding her emotions.
Girl, your feelings are twisted. That kind of love isn't going to end well.
Besides, I already have a girlfriend!
Sakurai and Nino: (✿๑♡⌓♡๑) ( ̄へ ̄)
"I… I wasn't looking at you, don't be so full of yourself, hmph!"
That line didn't come from Nino, but from Ichika mimicking her tsundere tone.
"Y-you… shut up already!" Nino covered Ichika's mouth with her hand, and the two sisters started horsing around.
"Hmph! I totally don't want Sakurai-san as my tutor! I absolutely hate that guy! Mmm~ but maybe I kinda like him a tiny bit~" Ichika kept imitating.
"Stop it!" Nino's face turned red from embarrassment.
"I totally don't like him at all!"
After that, Ichika was pushed to the floor by Nino.
It was now 6 PM.
Sakurai Saki ignored the scene of "blooming spring" between the two and simply lowered his head to focus on grading their test papers.
After a full day of being "Fed" and "Asked for Directions"...
The five sisters had absorbed a decent amount of the content taught, but most of it was rote memorization—when it came to applying the knowledge, they still struggled quite a bit.
One could only say: the ability "Feeding and Asking for Directions" was far more effective than the trash-tier "Word Spirit."
Speaking of "Word Spirit," it was all bark and no bite—no real capability, yet always acting like hot shit. To put it simply, if Sakurai Saki were the boss and superpowers were employees, "Word Spirit" would be the guy who talked big but never got anything done.
Whereas "Feeding and Asking for Directions" was simple but incredibly reliable.
This was the little skit playing in Sakurai Saki's mind:
[Feeding-chan, do you think the five sisters' issues can be resolved?]
[Feeding-chan: Not sure, but I'll do my best.]
[Word-chan, what about you? Do you think it'll work out?]
[Word-chan: Absolutely no way we'll fail! Boss, leave it to me!]
Just hearing their responses made it obvious which ability was more suitable for real work. No need to explain further, right?
"All right, let's wrap it up." Sakurai Saki clapped his hands.
The five sisters all sighed in relief.
"Class resumes tomorrow."
Upon hearing that, all five sighed again in unison.
"The monthly exam is coming up soon. Let's do our best, girls."
ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ)
Sakurai Saki encouraged the five airheaded girls.
Even with Spartan-style teaching, timely encouragement was still necessary.
"The top two scorers in the monthly exam will get a Wish Ticket."
Sakurai Saki figured this Wish Ticket should probably be added to the 'normal pool'.
He still didn't quite understand why the five sisters were so obsessed with his Wish Tickets!
The first one had been used by Nino to ask for forgiveness, and she took it from Miku—he still didn't know what Miku actually wanted him to do, although he remembered clearly how happy she was at the time.
(Note: The mystery has finally been solved…)
"Sensei-chan~ is it really anything at all?" Onee-san Ichika asked in a mischievous tone.
"Of course. If you want to continue what happened this morning, that's fine too." Sakurai Saki fired back.
Direct hit on Onee-san Ichika.
The image of Sakurai Saki being in her bed flashed across her mind.
Ichika: (//Ò///Ó//)
Nino, having just been wrestled down by Ichika for fun, noticed her sister's expression and asked, "What did you two do this morning?"
Ichika let Nino go and answered nonchalantly, "You can imagine it. The keyword is 'continue.' Ara~ what kind of thing would need to be continued halfway, hmm?"
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nino huffed in frustration. "Fine! If you don't wanna say, then whatever!"
૮₍ ˶>⤙<˶ ₎ა
She stood up and headed to the kitchen to start cooking.
Something that needed to be "continued," and in the morning no less...
'It must be… going back to sleep, right?'
After all, this morning Sakurai-san and Yotsuba were the ones who went around waking everyone up.
Unlike the still-innocent Nino, Yotsuba's head was already steaming.
'To continue doing… that thing.'
( ˶o˶˶o˶) !!
Glup~ It had to be that!
"Sakurai-san, stuff like that… you should really do it somewhere private, not here where there are a bunch of girls." Yotsuba weakly voiced her concern.
Sakurai Saki, face expressionless: "What are you even talking about?"
Though his expression didn't change, his heart did skip a beat.
Σ(°△° ꪱꪱꪱ)
Yotsuba had definitely found out about this morning—when he was under the blanket with Ichika.
"No, it's nothing." Yotsuba didn't want to expose herself.
But in truth, she'd already exposed everything.
No, Ichika still didn't know.
She thought her body was big enough to completely cover Sakurai Saki, but in reality, due to the difference in height, their legs were easily visible. Yotsuba had noticed this and deliberately ran outside to avoid seeing more.
"Suspicious~" Miku glanced at the three of them multiple times.
Miku: (≖ - ≖)
Saki-kun was definitely somewhere behind her doing shady things with one of her sisters again.
"There's really nothing going on! Don't overthink it, Miku!" Yotsuba's words sounded exactly like someone saying "I don't have any money" while being robbed.
"So full~" Itsuki patted her small belly.
She'd snacked a bit too much this afternoon.
And Sakurai-kun kept feeding her, how annoying! Wasn't this just him clearly trying to sabotage her weight loss efforts?
"It's okay! Studying takes a lot of energy, so you won't gain weight!" Yotsuba, knowing that Itsuki had been worried about her weight lately, spoke up to comfort her.
... Sakurai Saki recalled Itsuki's weight and quietly kept his mouth shut.
Some people do like a slightly chubby figure.
As long as she doesn't transform into a tank, there's still hope.
"If you're worried about your weight, you can go jogging in the morning. Just wake up a bit earlier each day, keep a regular routine—it's even good for your skin." Sakurai Saki offered his advice.
He really didn't want his student turning into a human puffball.
"Alright! I'll start jogging tomorrow!" Itsuki declared in the same tone as those people who post running selfies on social media every day.
ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
Big words, but usually gone after a few days.
"Jogging? Itsuki, you tried that last year too~ and only lasted three days!" Nino's voice rang out from the kitchen.
That backstab nearly broke Itsuki's mental defenses.
"..."
Though furious, Itsuki had no grounds to argue.
Miku didn't quite understand her sisters' worries, as she had never gained weight—her weight always remained stable. Even though she stayed indoors all the time, this was never an issue for her.
Ichika and Yotsuba didn't even need to be mentioned—one was busy with work, the other was a full-on athlete. The chance of them gaining weight was practically zero.
Nino lived a very disciplined lifestyle, did face masks before bed, stretched regularly—arguably the healthiest among the five sisters… except for the fact that without her glasses, she couldn't tell humans apart from furniture.
"This time, I'll definitely stick with it!"
Sakurai Saki began packing up his things, ready to leave.
"Sensei-chan, stay for dinner~" Ichika invited.
"Umu umu! Cooking for yourself when you get home is such a pain!" Yotsuba chimed in.
From the kitchen, Nino grumbled, "You guys can't just sit there talking—come help me already!"
Miku asked, "Do you need help with anything?"
"..."
After a brief silence, Sakurai Saki gave a small cough, then headed into the kitchen to lend a hand.
If they let Miku cook… they'd probably all have to check into the hospital tonight.
