"Come on… say it, lush at me," Tanner murmurs, his breath already brushing against Kyle's face. He's standing close, too close and Kyle slightly shorter than him, doesn't move away. But his silence speaks volumes.
"Maybe they're righ..." Kyle starts, but Tanner cuts him off immediately.
"Kyle, come on, we're not going to consider what others think anymore," Tanner says, his voice low but firm. "Aren't you tired of it? Because that's all we've been doing our whole lives, I'm sure you have, living for what others expect, what others approve of. Aren't you done?"
