Caleb's eyes snapped open instantly, all the hairs on his body standing tall.
He dived straight out of his bed, his eyes flickering around to check for the threat.
But even before he could catch sight of anything, a figure blurred past him and a loud sound was heard.
BOOM!
The figure crashed straight into the wall with intense force.
Caleb quickly turned on the lights with the automatic remote.
He could see Julia standing not too far from him, and on the opposite side... a face that instantly made a frown stretch over his face.
Julia had a frown on her face as well as she looked at the figure.
"What do you want?! Why are you here?!" she questioned, her voice simmering with anger underneath.
The figure slowly stood, hand clutched to his stomach.
It looked at Julia and then turned his head to Caleb.
"I'm not here for you... X protocol has been breached. Threat has to be eliminated," Nathan said, his eyes locked onto Caleb, not even shifting for a second.
