Chapter 16 - Chapter 4 (Volume 2) - Father's Worry

Back in the realm of the gods... A towering man sits on a throne, his items from the mortals stacked on mountains upon mountains, showing his riches and how revered he is.

"Hm..." Staring at an orb, he watches the other demigods... But one catches his eye,

"I wonder what the boy is doing." He wondered, as the orb switches and changes, seeing...

"Hm?" He noticed Adam resting on a chair, as his hand was dipped into the water, arcana flowing between the pair.

"What on earth..." He is confused,

"Ollie." He said, as suddenly...

"Yes, my lord?" Spoke a floating human, a doll of sorts, and one of those stereotypical dolls with the nutcracker mouth. The doll was made of clay and painted with joints and such, but its consciousness was given by infusing it with arcana.

"I wish to speak to my son. Mind you call him over?" He wondered,

"Of course, my lord," Ollie said, as Simulation is seen drinking more... Wine.

"Hick..." Simulation had NOTHING to do; being in the service of Alaric, he isn't exactly there when he's in the simulation. But hey, Simulation tweaked it so that the information comes to him in an instant, so about 5 years is a day in this world.

Right now was almost three days since Adam went into that simulated world.

But now Dominael, his father, wishes to speak to him.

"Oh my," Ollie said, as they floated in the domain...

"Hm." Ollie wanted to check up on this domain, as they soon came near the varying streams of water,

"Hick..." Simulation on the other hand... He was unable to notice Ollie.

"What a mesmerizing sight. Hm." Ollie notes this.

"A perfectly clean domain, pure to its intentions, yet creative," Ollie smirked, despite being unable to.

"Hello, fellow creation." But soon, Ollie comes to the ring, which is the being called "Simulation."

"H-Hello... Dolly..." Simulation hicked, but... Something clicked almost instantly.

"D-DOLL!?!" Simulation quickly realized who this is,

"S-S-Servent to the great one...! W-What a pleasant surprise to be graced with your presence!" Simulation almost dropped the jug of wine.

"PLEASE GIFT THIS TO THE LORD ABOVE LORDS AS MY APOLOGIES-!"

"Hush, servant of Alaric. I am simply here to deliver a message that his father, my creator, wishes to speak with him." Ollie explained, as the doll turned its clay head to see the sleeping demigod.

"It seems your creator is... Sleeping...? Is this the magic of the "simulations" he often performs?" Ollie wondered, and as being given life via arcana, they're not able to merge with arcana since it would remove their supply and merge with the arcana presence in whatever this water is. Only Simulation can tamper with it due to some tweaks to its arcana frequency and creation.

"Yes! Ah, yes... Ermmmm... Hold on, Ollie..." Simulation soon plops into a pool of water, as within it, the water glows a soft green.

"WIJFJEFOEND!" Simulation speaks weird gibberish, before...

"Alright... Sobered." Simulation soon gets to explaining,

"As a part of my creator's impeccable design... Yes! This water is special and is infused with many layers of arcana! Specially designed and crafted, and is used for the creation of ME! His humble and loyal creation! Lord Alaric is currently sleeping, so I need to WAKE him up!" Simulation explained, as Ollie nodded,

"I will await his return." Ollie soon turned to see the many flowers of blue and black colored roses.

"He is one weird one..." Ollie said to themselves, as Alaric isn't much like his father, more like his mother, who adored flora and fauna. His talents, looks, and everything else come from his father, of course!

"And what do the mortals call this?" Ollie hased,

"Ah... Hair ornaments! It's from a place called "Chenah" or something." Simulation explained, as Ollie nodded,

"Noted." They said, as Simulation now proceeds with the process... Within the world...

"!?!" Adam is suddenly frozen in place, the world became stiff as if...

"Wait... Oh, what the-!"

"My lord! Tis is I, your humble creation-"

"Simulation... Please tell me you have a good reason to drag me out of my obviously grand experiment?" Alaric is soon seen wearing his brown floral robe and all.

"Y-Yes, of course! I would never interrupt you even if Junala herself were to stumble in your domain! Your father, the lord above lords, wishes to speak with you!"

"M-My father?" Alaric is surprised... It's been like a year since he spoke to him,

"Yes... The lord above lords himself... Lord Donimael. Brother of Zeus." Simulation explained,

"... Fine," Alaric said, as eventually...

"!!!" He awakened. It has been almost three days since going into that world. Soon, he awakened completely and was surprised to see,

"Ollie?" Alaric noticed the clay doll,

"Greetings, Lord Alaric." Spoke Ollie,

"How long did you need to wait...?" Alaric wondered, stretching himself a bit, the doll stated:

"You don't need to be concerned about my well-being. I am here to inform you that your father wishes to speak to you. Not only to speak to his son but for personal business regarding the Demigods and the Immortals." Ollie explained,

"The Demigods and the Immortals? Then why not-"

"This is his order, Lord Alaric. It is not my place to answer questions." Ollie quickly shuts down any questions,

"Alright, alright," Alaric said, and eventually, as he rides floral trails to a higher realm... The skies became clear, and a large land was seen, an environment made by the two hands of great importance.

The God Realm. A realm above the Demigod Realm and therefore the Immortal Realm. The place where the most exceptional becomes a true god.

Dominael, the God of Creation and Finality... A duality split into two beings in stories, similar to Life and Death. A one-person split into two in this realm.

"Wow..." Alaric is surprised, the place definitely went through some changes since he last visited over a year ago.

"Your father, my creator, always keeps up with the trends of mortals. So, do not mind the change of scenery unless that bothers you?" Ollie wondered, as Alaric shook his head,

"No, no... I'm not. I'm just amazed what the power my father has..." Alaric praised his father's might,

"..." Simulation was quiet for the time being, only floating behind Alaric, they too looked around at the advanced architecture of the domain. But as a fellow creation, Simulation can feel it... The impressive arcana that surrounds these lands...

"!" But then Simulation felt it... An overwhelming force he didn't see in over a year... Dominael, the Creation and Finality God.

"I have brought them, my lord." Ollie bows, as Simulation face plants their ring on the ground, as Alaric stared up at a throne, stairs followed as clouds soon parted. A man twice his size, almost 11 feet tall, is seen. He was the brother of Zeus, the brother of the other two gods related to him, and the splitter of realms. He created this world for them to reside in, and it is the end of everything. A beginning and an end, that's his duality. Creation and Finality.

"..." Dominael stared at the three,

"Leave us be, creation of the gods," Dominael said, as Ollie and Simulation move to a secluded location, Ollie's directions are being given.

"Alaric, Demigod of Knowledge..." Dominael gets up, his might shows with each stride,

"One of my first children after Junala, the Demigod of War. My second child, my firstborn son." He smirked, as Dominael towers over Alaric, as if a baby to a man,

"Father... I was called here for business as usual. Why... Why did you call for me?" He wondered, as Dominael bends down, resting on one knee, staring at his son.

"..." Dominael is silent, but the scene took a complete 360,

"Because..." And suddenly, he hugged the man, who was now smaller than before, around 6 feet tall.

"I wanted to see how my son is doing! My boy, my pride! You and the other demigods!!!" Dominael hugged him tightly, as he is the father of 10 demigods after all.

"I-I-Is that so!?!" Alaric was being squished,

"Father... I am but a feeble scholar, please-!" He begged,

"Ah! Right. You do not possess the strength of Gallinum, Junala, and Oakamo after all." Dominael said,

"But I did have something to discuss with you. But I know how particular about socializing, so I wish to simply walk around. Stretch our legs and grace the mortal realm!" Dominael said,

"Again?" Alaric said, as if upset.

"But of course! Who knows, maybe we'll encounter a book you might not have collected! I know how much you strive for knowledge after all." Dominael said,

"B-Books? One I never had? Impossible." Alaric denies this aspect.

"I collected books all my life, for hundreds of years I strove to be the PINACLE of knowledge. There's no other book I don't have than-"

"Ah ah ah, that's why we must investigate! I heard there has been a man in Greece with a particular story... Something I would believe can pique your interest. A man named Homer... Many years after the events of a man who traveled Greece... He spun the epic tales for the world to see! An Odyssey that YOU, my son, NEVER laid your eyes on!

"!?!" Alaric's eyes widened,

"An epic tale of him!?! W-Well... Father... CAN WE GO TO THE HUMAN WORLD AND COLLECT SUCH A TALE!?! PLEASE!?!" Alaric quickly went NUTS,

"Hahahaha! You truly are my son! Of course, of course! We shall find this book! But of course..." Dominael snaps his fingers, and an empty book is placed in his hand.

"I am sure not only that epic tale but others will pique your interest. Please, do write as much as possible as quickly as possible. You know how my brother despises our existence." Dominael explained, as Alaric nodded, and eventually, they deceased to the earth of the humans.

"..." The pair looked around, as they were invisible entities at this point.

"The arcana levels aren't as strong as I hoped they would be," Alaric explained, as Dominael nodded.

"Humans have their ways of evolving. It's only fair we wait on their development." Dominael explained,

"That is how a god is after all. Fair to their humans. Unlike my brother." Dominael explained, as Alaric nodded,

"Noted." He said, as his uncle can be a bit... Destructive when it comes to humans. He was also a bastard, much like Dominael.

But hey, at least he gave his wives and lovers divine protection.

But still... Kind of a douche move to cheat on all your wives like that.

Alaric wondered at the human world, their buildings and such had changed significantly over the last hundred years. But...

"... Some of these mortals have arcana... Just not in the traditional sense." Alaric said,

"... Do the gods here not grant them the gift of power that arcana brings them?" He wondered,

"And why did you bring me here specifically? This isn't our realm to meddle in the business of these puny mortals." He explained, as Dominael chuckled,

"Of course, this isn't our realm. The Greeks barely visit ours while we wander here without consequence. But this also relates to Calypso. The titan daughter whom you took in and made an Immortal of our realm. Her story... It might fascinate you in the eyes of another. Homer, a man of grand might. He didn't capture the story but made tales come to life. His future self created the past. He is a master of the arcana whom we won't see for hundreds more years. Alaric! Don't you understand what I am coming from!?! YOU are the man I wish to bring along because this is something both you and I should learn!" Dominael suddenly turned obsessive,

"THINK ABOUT IT! How could a mere human become such a godly being!?! To use arcana to manipulate time, he made the story of the past and brought it to life through arcana! He is the god of us all! HE IS OUR-!"

"EH HEM." Alaric coughed a bit,

"!" Dominael quickly calmed himself,

"Apologies." He said,

"So... What you're saying... Is that we're beings made up by a Homer from the future? He built our story in the past through arcana?" Alaric is... Fascinated!

"Yes... While there isn't any evidence in this world saying we're real, the tales made by others say we were once beings who graced this world. But Homer was a creative mind, he was exceptional in many ways, and used his arcana and his capabilities to not only make us reality but also allowed another Homer to be capable of writing these stories for the future that is to come. Calypso? Zeus? We were never recorded... But through Homer, we were born." He said,

"And Homer here... He is currently telling the tales his future self had planned from the beginning." Dominael said,

"I wish for you to understand it. As the demigod of knowledge, it is your passion to learn, correct?" Dominael wondered,

"... Of course it is," Alaric said, as Dominael smirked,

"Alright! Then let's get started!" And soon, the two godly beings journey to record and sightsee this new era of strife in the Greek Empire.
