Silver short hair, emitting a moonlight-like radiance.

That unique young girl, amidst the bustling streets, seemed to be aimlessly strolling.

However, this dark night was her eyes, her body.

No matter where the Hero King was located, she could easily and simply sense his whereabouts.

What's more, that King, that dazzling golden form, there was nothing more conspicuous than it in the dark night.

Athena once said that she detested Yin.

It was not a pretense, or anything else.

By nature, in mythology, Athena and Apollo were not very compatible.

At this moment, Gilgamesh's golden shimmering figure awakened her not-so-good memories.

But, at this moment, what was located here was not the tender young goddess herself, but something else.

An Incarnate Demon, or rather, a Summoned Creature from somewhere.

The reason it appeared in Athena's form was simply to show its respect to that high and mighty King.

Of course, it was also a pragmatic consideration that if he sent an ordinary Incarnate Demon, it would probably be casually killed.

Indeed, it wasn't directly going to go itself. For the King, how could that not be an insult?

That young girl with pale silver hair had not a single ripple in her eyes. In fact, she herself did not possess 'emotions.'

If Athena was still like a goddess, high and mighty and 'indifferent,' then this Incarnate Demon, transformed from a snake, was nothing more than that simple cold-blooded animal.

This young girl's form, or rather, the form of a young girl, swaying and swaying, slowly approached that person, that Gilgamesh...

...The place where he was located.

Even though that beauty was enough to infinitely amplify the dark side of people's hearts, it was as if due to the curse power attached to her body, no one perceived her existence.

Unfitting, or rather, a huge sense of distance and strangeness, unnaturally coalesced on that figure, to the extent that all humans were unable to perceive that peerless beauty.

"So, is it there?"

A slightly hoarse voice, different from Athena's, with a dry, hoarse tone, perhaps carried a hint of crispness, but that beauty was easily shattered and destroyed.

She subtly bent her body, looking at the grand building that seemed to be the tallest in this city. The Incarnate Demon in the form of a young girl slightly narrowed her pale yellow snake eyes, then unhesitatingly rushed towards it.

Completing the negotiation, and then bringing the Stone of Olgor, that was the mission for which she was born.

As for finally returning to the 'Mother of Snakes' body and once again transforming into demonic power, that was no longer her concern.

And atop that building with a full twenty-odd floors, Gilgamesh lightly leaned against the wall of the rooftop, a faint, almost imperceptible smile on his face.

He subtly narrowed his eerie red snake eyes, looking down upon the countless, seemingly insignificant masses below.

"Indeed, even with all the novelty in this human world, after seeing too much, it's inevitable to grow bored."

Saying this in an ancient tone, detached from the world, the man's face still held that half-smile, half-sneer expression.

This man exuded an air of laziness. In his not-so-broad yet extremely powerful hand, he lightly held a goblet of exquisite wine.

That was a fine wine brewed by divine power. For humans, it held a fatal temptation.

"Then, if I were to toss this cup of wine into that crowd, what interesting scene would unfold?"

He chuckled softly, as if such a dangerous act, and the lives of those countless beings, were utterly insignificant.

No, for this King, these were meaningless. They did not belong to his subjects. How many died or lived perhaps didn't matter.

"What do you think of this?"

It was a faint question, a tone filled with mockery.

The King, with his condescending gaze, looked at the trembling figure that had just appeared on the rooftop.

"I (dba_j) have brought Lord Athena's request."

It was a voice with a hint of ancient flavor in its hoarseness, but also, it carried an inexplicable sense of temptation.

Perhaps, it was the nature of a snake.

"Hmm? That woman is actually so uninteresting."

Gilgamesh didn't even look at that figure. He walked directly to the edge of the rooftop and, with an expression of disdain, lightly looked down upon the trembling masses.

"This King doesn't like snake-types at all. To think you, a hybrid like you, were sent here. I suppose you're ready to receive this King's punishment."

The King's lips curved slightly upwards, revealing a faint, somewhat sinister smile.

"This, I do not know."

The 'snake' gently replied, seemingly not perceiving at all the disdain of that arrogant King.

...towards it, treating it like trash.

Even if it did perceive it, this emotionless Incarnate Demon wouldn't harbor any complex thoughts.

"I, merely brought Lord Athena's request."

Repeating again, the young girl gently bent her body, as if expressing her humility.

But no matter who it was, no matter how foolish the fellow, they couldn't sense a single hint of reverence from her.

"Then, speak. If any filthy words defile this King's ears, then your life and Athena's life shall compensate for it."

Saying such unreasonable words, the King lightly swirled the fragrant wine in his goblet. His eyes, like a thick, glowing, red snake, watched the trembling figure below him.

The Incarnate Demon, having received such a reply, once again respectfully bowed, then softly spoke the words she had been given when she arrived.

"Please return the 'Stone of Olgor' to my master, Lord Athena."

She said softly, yet her words contained not a trace of fear, only an icy indifference.

It was an icy indifference devoid of killing intent, like a giant snake encountering its prey.

"As compensation for this, my master is willing to fight you, in the complete form of the three-in-one Earth Mother Goddess, against the great Hero King Gilgamesh."

As she spoke, she raised her lowered head. Her face held a faint smile, one that should absolutely not have appeared.

"Please return the Stone of Olgor, and then let the war carved into epic history once again brilliantly reappear in this distant eastern land!"

It was as if all she had received was this one command. The young girl stopped speaking and stood there motionless again, awaiting Gilgamesh's response.

And the King, however, couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. A trace of extreme displeasure flashed in his eyes.

"Truly, she doesn't seem to feel ashamed at all for her status as a disobedient god, and doesn't even appear to regret it?"
