Just like how Captain Rose and Zyon were having a spar in the 30th city, Captain Lucas was entertaining KiRA and Izzy with his lacking skills.
He did not fight the two of them together or even dare to do so. He knew he may have more practical experience than the two of them, but they had statistical and skill advantages.
Besides, he did not have the kind of equipment that they had. Things like that weren't commonly found even on this floor… They were carrying items that would make any soldier envious of them.
Also, since he did not know how well they could use those things, he was assuming they had decent control over those weapons until now… that's what he had in mind until he fought against them one by one though.

Izzy and he fought for more than a few minutes and exchanged more than a few blows. They fought for real.
