Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 : The Awakening of Niroki’s Power

Yamile sank deeper into the vast ocean. Her body felt like cotton blown in every direction by the wind. Her limbs began to weaken, her head spun, and her consciousness slowly faded.

Amid this struggle, her resolve and determination grew stronger. She was certain that she would not die here.

She opened her eyes wide, groaning like a lion poised to attack its prey. Slowly, a greenish aura surrounded her body, causing the water around her to tremble.

The whirlpool that had trapped her earlier began to calm and disappear. Now Yamile was creating her own whirlpool, forming a bubble that allowed her to breathe.

Yamile was now deeply submerged in the ocean floor. The surroundings were dark, with only scattered specks of light in every direction. Some of them began to approach her.

To her surprise, those specks of light transformed into sea monsters. A giant squid—a kraken—rushed toward her, attacking with its long, powerful tentacles.

"Why do I have to fight a monster now?!" She screamed in fear.

Yamile tried to dodge, swimming as far as she could. But this was the ocean, and the kraken swiftly chased her. A moment later, the area around her turned pitch black as the kraken released thick, dark ink.

Suddenly, an eerie sound echoed, like another monster approaching. The sea grew quiet. Yamile stood still, cautiously watching her surroundings.

In a flash, a massive claw appeared in front of her. It struck her, sending her body flying and destroying her air bubble.

"What was that?" She groaned, clutching her aching head.

Then Yamile looked up—and her body trembled in fear. "That's Godzilla!"

Her body shook violently. Before her stood a black, monstrous figure. Although she had never seen Godzilla in person, the ancient books she read and the legends passed down through generations described this creature perfectly.

Godzilla.

Godzilla was the sea's ruler, having slept for hundreds of years and awakening only when the balance of the world was disturbed. Yamile froze, her body stiff as stone. Her bubble vanished, and her breath began to thin. But her fear outweighed the suffocation. The giant creature now stared directly at her. Its eyes glowed red with rage.

Still, Yamile couldn't move. She was like a tiny fish before a massive whale.

Godzilla growled suddenly. Its roar echoed so powerfully that the entire sea quaked. The giant squid immediately flailed its body, attempting to flee. But it was too late. In an instant, Godzilla unleashed a beam of light from its mouth—a bright blue ray tore through the sea, struck the kraken, and vaporized it in a massive explosion. The water's temperature spiked, and though she was far from the blast, Yamile nearly burned.

Godzilla flung her away once more, plunging her even deeper into the ocean. Her consciousness began to fade again. She tried to release her power once more, creating another vortex that formed a protective bubble.

Then Godzilla slowly approached, observing Yamile closely. It attacked again, this time trying to swallow her like a small fish.

Yamile created a powerful whirlpool to push herself backward, narrowly escaping the terrifying monster's jaws.

But she knew she couldn't keep dodging forever. Every movement now drained her faster than before. The green aura surrounding her began to dim—a sign her power was fading. She had to act—not just to survive, but to fight back.

"If I keep going like this, I'll die," she thought.

Yamile closed her eyes, trying to gather every last bit of strength. She placed her palm on her chest, accessing the source of energy that had long slumbered. Suddenly, a bright green light surged from within her. The aura pierced through the sea, spreading in all directions like a magical wave dividing the ocean.

Godzilla stopped. Its fiery red eyes seemed hypnotized by the light. Its movements slowed, and it even backed away a few meters. For a moment, the ocean was calm. Silent. No sea creatures stirred.

And in that silence, Yamile opened her eyes once more. Instead of feeling fear, she was filled with determination this time. The aura around her formed large, translucent water wings extending from her back. Her air bubble had turned into a sturdy crystal dome.

She extended her arms and shouted from the depths of her soul:

"Niroki, give me your strength!"

Instantly, a swirl of green light enveloped Yamile's entire body. The ocean began to rumble again. Stones from the seafloor rose, currents turned wild, and hidden sea creatures emerged from behind the corals, summoned by her power.

Godzilla roared again, louder than before. But this time, Yamile did not flinch.

With a single sweep of her hand, Yamile created a powerful whirl of energy, forming a massive water spear aimed directly at Godzilla's chest. She hurled it with all her might. The spear shot forward like lightning, striking the monster's chest.

Godzilla screamed in pain, its body thrown back, creating an enormous underwater shockwave. The ocean floor cracked, forming glowing red fissures—as if magma was rising from the earth's core.

But Godzilla was no ordinary creature. It rose again, even angrier. Its entire body glowed bright blue. It raised its head, preparing a counterattack.

Suddenly, Yamile's eyes turned green. She glared sharply at Godzilla. "Stop! I am your queen!"

Godzilla halted. Its glowing body dimmed instantly. The monster looked terrified as it met Yamile's gaze.

"You truly are my reincarnation," said a voice that suddenly echoed in Yamile's mind—Niroki's voice.

"You've proven your strength by fighting my pet."

"Huh?! Pet?" Yamile gasped in shock.

"Hahaha! Hey, remember—I'm a demon. I wouldn't keep a cute little cat," said Niroki.

"You're beautiful, but why would you choose something like that as a pet? It's terrifying!" Yamile replied.

"Yamile! Return to the surface. You are now acknowledged as the queen of the ocean. My powers are now fully yours."

A feeling of satisfaction suddenly filled Yamile's heart. She had succeeded in awakening Niroki's power. A great battle awaited her on land—and she had to return quickly.

Yamile shot upward at incredible speed, her body propelled by a powerful current. In an instant, she broke through the ocean's surface and soared into the sky.

"Yahuuuuu! I did it, Uncle!" She shouted to Uncle Marco, who had been waiting anxiously on the beach.
